Prologue:
I squirmed like a snake my hands reaching for the surface. The surface felt so distant now. I was falling. I was sinking. My heart rate was diminishing and my eyes could no longer stay open. My life flashed before my eyes and I knew what was going to happen next. I had experienced this feeling quite a few times in life. So I greeted Death like an old friend, but before he could snatch me away, I saw a pair of beautiful melted-chocolate colored eyes. And that was the last thing I remembered.
Note: Okay so I know it was a short prologue! Sorry.
