You called the number and waited impatiently for the answer.
‘Come on pick up!’ you thought to yourself. Finally you heard the click.
"Papa John’s Pizza, how may I help you?" you smiled as you put in your order. Your boyfriend had just dumped you so you had invited your best friend Justin over. You guys were going to eat pizza and ice cream and watch movies and have a great time. Now that you were single, your secret feelings for Justin were coming back. You had always had a thing for him, but you had been too scared to ever tell him. You knew he would never date you anyways, so what was the point in ruining the friendship? You set up the living room with pillows and blankets and popcorn and DVD’s. The doorbell rang and you opened it to reveal the pizza man. You payed him and took your pizza into the living room. You walked into the kitchen to get some sodas when you heard the door unlocking and footsteps walking in. Justin had arrived.
"Hey!" he said, opening his arms to you. You hugged him tightly.
"I haven’t seen you in forever!" you said to him as the two of you walked into the living room.
"I know! I missed you." you smiled as the two of you settled in. You spent the rest of the night eating and joking and watching movies. Eventually, around one a.m., you guys were getting bored.
"Let’s play a game!" Justin suggested.
"Okay, what game?"
"Truth or dare?"
"Okay! I’ll go first. Truth or dare?"
"Um, truth."
"Too chicken to pick dare?" you laughed as he shook his head. “Okay, um, what is something you’ve never told anyone before?" you questioned. You watched as his face turned red and he looked to the ground.
"Justin? What’s the matter?"
"Um, I don’t like that one."
"Too bad," you laughed, “you picked truth!"
"Something I’ve never told anyone?"
"Yes!"
"Well I’ve never told anyone how much I like you (Y/N). I have for a long time and I know that you don’t feel the same way about me and I never wanted to ruin anything between us and-" you tuned him out as you tried to comprehend what he just said. He liked you! All this time he had liked you back! You were so happy, you leaned over and kissed him right on the mouth. You could tell he was shocked, but he deepened the kiss. You smiled as the two of you pulled away.
"Truth or dare?" Justin smiled.
"Dare."
"I dare you to kiss me again." he winked. You rolled your eyes as you leaned over and kissed him again.
