We are all doomed. We are living in the world we knew. The world we loved. Knew? Loved? Why past-tense? The world we once knew long ago is now where we live, we see the world as it once was. A beautiful, lush planet that we walked on. The world has changed quite a bit, it is not the place it once was. The world is now the opposite of what it was. There are now barely any trees or plants left, the ocean is no longer blue but grey, and the sky is an unpleasant red. The sun has swollen slightly making it warmer, the ocean has recited, and the air is thick. But the human population has been tricked, brainwashed, to see the planet as it used to be. The human population sees the planet as it was in the year 2000, not how it is now in the year 3000. Yet there are few of the population who see the planet as it is, the ones that escaped the trickery, the brainwashing. I am one of those few and we are being hunted and killed. We are called Visions since we can see what others cannot, the others are called Darklings because they do not know about everything. Us Visions were trying to make others see what we see and fix the planet, to make it as it once was, but this did not work as planned. We altered our plan and began to blend in with the Darklings and find a way to save the human population and the planet in secret. My name is Thea Linson and my mission is to save the planet.
