Matt's P.O.V.

School. Shit, what am I going to do with Thea? I can't give her the opportunity to leave because I have to protect her. How can I take her with me? She is going to stick out so much. There's no way I can leave her here because if my dad comes home then we're all screwed. It's like I'm damned if I leave her and damned if I take her. I can't just skip school either since my dad will probably pick me up after it. What am I going to do? Well I guess I can start with leaving the room and going to check if Thea was even still here.

I walked out of the bathroom and into the living room seeing Thea sitting on the couch as if she was waiting for something.

"Morning!" I called while walking pass her to sit on the chair.

"Good morning." She mumbled.

I cleared my throat, "So we need to talk what we're going to do."

"We're?" She questioned.

"Yes, I'm leaving for school soon and I can't leave you here so..." I started.

"Well here's what "we're" going to do." She put air quotes around we're, "You are going to go to school, and I am going to leave. Then you will forget that this ever happened. I was never here. Okay?"

I opened my mouth to talk but then shut it seconds later.

"Good. Well I'm leaving, thanks for everything but I have to go." she said while walking towards the door.

I quickly got up and stood in front of the door, blocking her path from leaving. "No, no, no. You are not leaving. You came here for help, so I gave you it. Now that we have spoken and gotten to know each other a fair bit-"

"Not really." Thea interrupted.

"Yes we have. Well now I feel obligated to protect you. I can't let you walk out of this door and possibly get captured by the government or worst, killed." I continued, "Now you are either going to come with me or stay here. It's your choice."

She let out a sigh and rolled her eyes, "Well, well, well. Seems like my saviour has turned into my kidnapper, huh?" she gave me a devilish smirk, "You will either let me leave peacefully, or I will leave forcefully and make you wish that you never had met me."

Did she just threaten me? What happened between us laughing last night to now where we are literally on the verge of fighting?

"I am just trying to protect you." I defended.

"No, it seems like you are trying to keep me hostage." She fixed the jacket she was wearing over her shoulders.

"Please don't go." I begged grabbing her arm gently, "All I want to do is keep you safe, I dont' want to hurt you."

She pulled her arm from my grasp, "Yeah, I've heard that before."

"Okay, how about this? If after tomorrow you still feel like I am keeping you hostage, you can leave and I will forget that you were ever here. Okay?" I pleaded, I didn't want to be the reason that the human race will die.

She let out a long sigh and looked at her feet, "Fine. But only until tomorrow."

"The end of tomorrow. As soon as it turns twelve a.m. you can leave if you feel like you are a hostage." I told her.

"Alright. Until the end of tomorrow." She mumbled.

"Good. Now we have to get you ready to go to my school. How will we make you blend in?" I muttered the last part to myself.

She laughed, "Oh I have my ways to blend in. Do you mind if I use your bathroom?"
