I woke with the sun beaming on my face.
I sat up in bed, and stretched my arms with a bug yawn. I stood up and stretched again before I closed the blinds. I hated the light.
I got my clothes and made my way down stairs to the girls bathroom.
I began taking my clothes off, and placed both uniforms on the bathroom sinks. I got into an empty shower, and turned on the warm water.
I embraced the water and the green apple shampoo coming off in bubbles, streaming down my face. My brown hair went down to my hunches.
I rinsed the soap off, and turned the shower off. I pulled the curtain away, and stepped out, and retrieved my uniform.
I got dressed, and made my way back to my dorm.
I sat on my bed, and continued to read.
"What are you doing?" Asked a fellow ravenclaw girl. She had red hair, and freckles dotted her cheeks and nose.
I looked up surprised. And lifted my book slightly to show her my I was reading. She grinned, I smiled back, and continued, tried, to continue, my book.

"What's your name?" She continued.
"My name is Sariah." I said formally.
She waved me towards the door.
"Come on. We have to go to dining hall for breakfast." She said.
I nodded, and I pulled on my black high tops, and grabbed my wand.
I tried to follow the girl, but lost her in the twist and turns of the stairs.
I stood there, on the stairs, breathless, and lost. I rested against the rail, and struggled for air. Just as I caught my breathe, I felt a jerk. I heard a sound, like concrete rubbing against each other. The stairs were moving. I panicked, and hung on tightly.

It jolted, and finally stopped. I heard laughter, and looked around to find me being made fun of by a bunch of portraits.
"Oh, lay off me, will ya'! It's my first year!" I yelled.
They started to laugh again.
"That's why its so funny!" One said with a big cloud of deep chuckles.
I rolled my eyes.
I started going back up stairs. As I reached the top, I jumped when a man came through the ground.

"Nice to meet you! I am nearly headless Nick! And you are!?" He said, and bowed.
"I'm Seriah." I said. " If you don't mind me asking, but could you take me to the dining hall?"
He smiled.
"Right this way, Seriah, my darling." He said nodding.

I followed him down a thousand flights of stairs, and we finally entered the hall. We went inside, and he assisted me to Ravenclaw's table.
"Thank you." I said.
"Not a problem at all. Take care my dear. He said. He grabbed his hair, and tore off his head, almost as if he was bobbing a hat towards me. Every one at my table began to gag. But I smiled.

I sat there in silence, as people talked, and joked. I listened to their conversations, while I waited for something to happen.
I heard someone tapping a glass. It grew silent, and everyone instructed their attention to the tall man with a huge brown beard.
He cleared his throat.
" May the feast, begin." He announced. Suddenly, the tables were filled with millions of plates, of different foods and drinks.
People began to tear at the food.
I sat there and waited for everything to be devoured, but no matter how much they ate, the food would continue to reappear, so I decided to grab the first thing in sight.
I look at Oliver as I nibble on the sandwich. He was gorgeous. Everything about him was absolutely fascinating. But he was Slytherin, and I'm ravenclaw, it can't ever happen.
