Ashton's P.O.V.
(This is a one time thing)

"What about you Ashton? You up for it?" Luke asked me sweetly.

"I don't see why not," I responded to the adorable blonde boy while fighting back a smile. I may be pissed at Calum, but I can't say no to spending time with Luke. If I didn't know any better I would say that Calum and Michael planned this, but as far as I know Michael can't stand Calum right now.

Once the four of us walked into the pizzeria, we were hit with the delicious aroma of cooking pizza. It was heavenly. The hostess lead us to a table and said someone would be with us soon to take our order. We sat in an uncomfortable silence, until Calum finally broke it.

"So Michael, how are you liking the school so far?"

"I can't really complain. I made a friend on the first day, so that's one more than I made in the 7 months I was in my last school," Michael replied.

"Hate to be intrusive, but-," I attempted to say before Calum interrupted me.

"Since when to you hate to be intrusive? You invade my privacy on a daily basis, you just walk into my house uninvited, and then proceed to eat all of my food. Being intrusive is your specialty."

"Okay you pain in the ass, I hate being intrusive with people other than you. Given the things I've done to you, completely platonically if I may add, I have every right to be intrusive. So Michael, why do you seem to skip around to so many schools, if you don't mind me asking?"

"You have to promise that this won't change your opinion of me. Like at all."

"It won't," I assured Michael.

"Same here, man," Calum added.

"Okay," Michael started with a slightly trembling voice. "Four years ago, when i was 13, I came out to my parents as gay. My father was absolutely furious. He made sure everyone knew and that my life would be a living hell. When things got really bad, my mom left him. We got out of town and I started a new school. Somehow everyone there found out that I'm gay and made my life there hell. Every new place my mom and I move to becomes hell, because somehow everyone finds out I'm gay. So, Ashton, the reason I skip around to so many school is because people are homophobic pricks who make my life a living hell. But at least now I'm more confident with who I am. I've started to care less about people knowing, but I don't want the whole school to find out yet. Can we just keep this between us three?"

At this point Michael was blinking back tears. I watched as Calum got up from his seat and engulfed Michael into a bear hug.
"I promise you that what happened to you in your old schools will not happen here. Anyone who tries to do anything to you will have me to deal with. Seeing as I'm one of the tallest and most muscular guys in the school, you shouldn't have to worry that much," Calum told Michael.

"Yeah Mikey, I'll be right by Cal's side. I promise that not one single person will get away with treating you like that."

"Ashton and Calum are right," Luke added, "No one is going to mess with you when we are around. And by we I mean Calum and Ashton. I'm the equivalent of a piece of spaghetti, so I can't intimidate anyone," he said with a chuckle.

The four of us laughed at the most random things until our waitress came. When she arrived we placed our drink order and ordered a large cheese pie. She soon after brought us our drinks. We continued our meaningless banter, until Michael's facial expression changed. Before I could ask if he was okay, he ran off towards the bathroom.

"I'll go see if he's okay," Calum told Luke and I, "you two stay here. I'll be right back."

"I hope he's okay,' Luke said after a minute of awkward silence.

"Yeah, me too," I responded to him.

Moments later we caught sight of Calum walking a sick-looking Michael to his car. Once Michael was in the car, Calum came back inside the pizzeria.

"Mikey's not feeling well. He threw up a little in the bathroom. I'm going to bring him home, but the two of you can stay here. We already ordered the pizza, so someone might as well enjoy it. Luke, would you be able to bring Ash home?'

"Yeah, that's not a problem. Are you sure you want to bring Mikey home, cuz I don't mind bringing him home."

"It's no trouble at all. I had to bring him something for the physics project we are working on together anyway. Oh, and this is for the pizza. it's my treat boys," Calum said while placing $30 for the pizza on the table. Then he walked out of the pizzeria, but not before sending a smirk my way. In that moment I realized that I was right, this was all set up.

I couldn't help but wonder why Calum and Michael would have planned this. I mean, yeah, I have a little crush on Luke, so I get why Calum would want to do that. The thing that was bothering me was why Michael would take part in this. Was he just helping Calum torment me, or did Luke tell Michael he likes me. But if Luke liked me, how would Calum find out. The only logical reason for that is Michael told him. That also means that Calum would have told Michael that I like Luke. Why would Calum do that. How can I trust my best friend knowing he told someone he hardly know that I-

"Earth to Ashton," Luke said while waving his hands in front of my face. "The pizza is here."

'Oh, thanks for letting me know," I replied, grabbing a slice of pizza.

"Any reason you spaced off?" the blonde boy questioned.

"Just thinking about all the reasons Calum is a piece of shit," I answered with a smirk.

We continued to joke around with one another for about an hour, and ate the entire pizza. once the waitress came, we paid with the money Calum gave us. Since neither of us had to pay for anything, we decided to go get ice cream.

The drive to the ice cream parlor was anything but silent. Luke and I were singing along as loud as we could to every Halsey song that played. And by singing I mean screaming and giggling. We had the windows rolled down so that everyone could hear how amazing we sounded. The elderly couple we stopped next to at a red light seemed to enjoy it very much.

After ten minutes of annoying every person is earshot, we finally reached the ice cream parlor. We both ordered our cones and sat down in one of the booths. We continued to talk about nearly everything. We talked about music, school, family, everything. By the time we decided to head out I could tell you about as much about Luke as I could Calum, and he could do the same for me.

At first, I may have been pissed at Calum for doing this, but now I was so thankful for him. He gave me the chance to really get to know the beautiful blonde boy I was practically in love with. Sure I was pissed at him for kissing me yesterday, but he really made up for it. I was expecting an apology blowjob or something, not practically going on a date with the guy of my dreams.

Luke drove me back to my house as we blasted Twenty One Pilots through the speakers. I gave him directions along with screaming the lyrics to Fairly Local. The screaming continued until we finally reached my house. i was sad to go, but I knew all good things must come to an end.

Luke and I exchanged goodbyes and I thanked him for bringing me back home. I was about to open when I heard a car door slam shut. I turned around to see Luke running towards me.

"You forgot something," he said once he reached me.

"What," I questioned with a quizzical look on my face.

"This."

That was the last thing that was said between the two of us before I felt his lips press against mine.
