The week passed by like any other day. Treyvyn would try to speak to me and I would push him away. I would get plenty of glares from other girls around the school. I didn't really care though. It wasn't like I wanted his attention anyway.
Friday came quickly and I was nervous about it. I still had no idea what to wear.
Amaya came over and was helping me get ready and to calm me down. Right now, she was terroizing my closet. "Not this. Hell no. Why do you even have this? Girl, I'm taking you shopping some time." That's about how it went for thirty minutes.
"Oh my gosh! This is definitely the one!" She gushed. She pulled out a black mini skirt with a maroon colored sweater and black tights. "This will go perfect together! Why do you never wear this?"
"I don't know." I shrugged. "Maybe it's not something I'd wear to school."
"Well you are about to wear it tonight. Take a shower then I'm doing your hair and make up. You have" Looking down at her watch "exactly two hours before Aiden gets here. I'm gonna make him faint by how beautiful you'll look. Now get to it. Make it fast." She waved me off.
"Bossy much?" I laughed and done what I had to.

"Ow, Amaya. Don't pull my hair out." This girl has been tugging on my hair for atleast fifteen minutes. If there is any progress, I wouldn't know. She's not letting me touch my hair nor look.
"Oh, shut it. I'm not hurting you too bad. I would be done already if you would quit freaking moving. Your fault for it taking this long." She scoffed.
"Alright. I'm finished. If you mess it up, so help me I'm gonna skin you alive!" She pointed at me. "Now, to your makeup then you can look afterwards." She spun me around. I swear, this girl is gonna be the death of me.
*.*.*.*
"Wow." That's all I could say. I didn't recognize the girl in the mirror. She had smoky eyes and flawless skin with dark maroon lipstick like her sweater.
"You like?" Amaya said next to me.
"Of course I like. I love it. I'm beautiful Amaya. How did you manage to do this? I look..different. " I didn't know how to describe it. I mean I was unrecognizable. Holy shit.
"I know. I'm amazing. You don't have to tell me. It's my secret, girl. Now, Aiden should be here in ten minutes." She handed me a pair of tan ankle boots. "Put those on and you'll be completely ready. Oh wait, perfume and deodorant." She handed them to me. "All set." She smiled and pretended to wipe a tear. "My Emerly is growing up so fast." She laughed.
There was a knock at the door and nervousness rushed over me. "Honey, why do you get so pale?" Amaya rushed to my side.
"Am I doing the right thing going on a date with Aiden? I asked. I don't know why but I was having second thoughts. This would be fun right? Yes. I'm doing this because I really like Aiden. He's sweet and caring. Why do I feel like this? Like it isn't right? I deserve to be with someone like him.
"Yes, Everly. Why?" She looked at me with confusion.
"Just asking." I brushed it off.
"Everly!" My mother called me. "Aiden is here."
I took a couple of breaths and started walking down stairs. "Call me if you need anything. Alright?" Amaya told me.
"I promise. I will." I hugged her. Aiden looked nice. He had on a black pearl snap with a pair of dark jeans. His hair looked a little ruffled but it looked good on him. Not as good as Treyvyn though, my mind said. No. I will not let him ruin my date tonight.
I smiled at Aiden.
"Are you ready to go? He asked looking at me sweetly.
I gulped. "Yes." I hugged my mother and Amaya and I walked out the door with Aiden.

"You look beautiful." Aiden said when we got in the car.
"Thank you." I said back. He just smiled. It was silent the rest of the way. I wanted to break the silence many times I just didn't know how.
We finally arrived thirty minutes later and I wasted no time getting out. It was uncomfortable all the way here. We gave the lady our tickets and took our seats once inside. "I'm gonna get us some popcorn. You want anything?"
"Just a Dr . Pepper." I replied. "Thanks." He nodded and headed to the concession stand. I sat patiently and watched the commercials and silently made a list of what I wanted to watch when they came out. I always do that with Amaya. Telling each other, 'I wanna see that.' To almost every commercial. It was our thing.
Aiden showed up right before the movie began. "Sorry it took so long. There was a long line ahead."
"It's alright." I assured him. We sat in silence as the movie began.
Halfway through, Aiden put his arm around me and done the whole yawn trick. I chuckled and leaned into him. He lightly smiled and we watched the rest just like that.
When we got back in the car, I noticed him smiling brightly.
"Why you smiling?" I asked him. He looked me and gave me a breathtaking smile.
"You actually let me have my arm around you. I liked it." He turned back to the wheel and started driving.
"It was comfortable." I replied. He smiled back and we made small talk on the way back to my house.
*.*.*.*
"I had a lot of fun. We should do it again sometime."
"I did too and yes we should." I answered. He gave me another one of his breathtaking smiles. "See you Monday."
"You to Everly." He replied before driving off. I smiled all the way till I got inside.
"How did it go?" My mother asked. She was folding clothes. I walked over and started helping her.
"It was great." I told her and began telling her everything. My mother and I tell each other everything. We're that close.
I got ready for bed soon after and changed into some pajamas. I put my phone on charge and set it on my nightstand. My phone buzzed.
'I hope you had fun tonight.' ~T.
I looked at my phone confused.
'Who is this?' ~E
'Your knight in shining armor.' ~T
'Treyvyn.' ~E
'Absolutely. Sweetheart, I can have you yelling my name. Just say when.' ~T
'Don't call me that. I would never.' ~E
'Why did you go on a date with Aiden?' ~T
Why would he be wondering that?
'I like him is why. Why are you asking?' ~E
'What's to like? He doesn't deserve you.' ~T
Woah, doesn't deserve me? Where the hell did that come from?
'He's sweet and caring unlike you. What do you mean?' ~E
'Nothing. Don't worry about it. Night.' ~T
'Whatever. Night.' ~E
That was..weird. He had no right to say he didn't deserve me. Aiden is better than he'll ever be. I could barely keep my eyes open so I just rolled over and went to sleep.

I'm sorry it isn't much. I'll try to make it longer next time. I will update more often and I apologize for taking so long. What were your thoughts about Aiden? And Treyvyn? Anyways, hope you enjoyed. Vote and comment your thoughts!
