Chapter 5

*Beep* *Beep* *Beep* went my alarm. I rolled over and turned it off. Ugh. School again. I got up and took a shower and went downstairs where my mom was making breakfast. I walked in and seen my brother stuffing his face. "Austin slow down your gonna choke."

"Buh I hunry Everwy" I just laughed and shook my head.

"Goodmorning mom." I said and kissed her on the cheek.

"Goodmorning darling. Hey you need to go your gonna be late."

"Oh yea. Love yall!" I said while I walked out the door.

When I got to school I went to the tree where all my friends were. "Everly! I missed you!" Said Neveyah. Neveyah and I have been friends since fourth grade while Amaya and I were friends since kindergarten. "Hey Neveyah. You seen me Thursday. It's only been the weekend.

"I know but I missed you."

"Y'all quit." Amaya just rolled her eyes. The bell rang signaling we needed to get to class.

I walked into first hour which is Bio 2 and sat in the back with Amaya and Neveyah. Brylyn, my other best friend, wasn't here today. So it was just us. About fifteenth minutes later the door opened and Treyvyn walked in.

"Mr.Wade, your late." Said Mrs.Williams.

He just walked over to his desk and sat down.

We walked into lunch, bought our food and went to our table. "I wonder why Treyvyn was late but he looked extremely hot when he walked in." Said Amaya. "Girl, he is a sexy ass!" Neveyah winked as she said this. "Agreed!" Amaya yelled. These two, wow.

"Hello there Everly." That voice sounds so familiar. I turned around and seen Chase standing there.

"Hey Chase." I wonder where the other guys were.

"Whatcha doing?" What kinda question is that? "Eating obviously." He just smiled. "I see that." He walked over and sat by me with his tray.

"What are you doing?"

"Eating obviously." He laughed when he said that.

"That was my words. You theif."

"The only way I'm a theif is stealing girls hearts." He said while winking at me.

"Oh please."

"Do you mind telling me how you two know each other?" You could tell Amaya had concern written all over her face.

"Well Everly's friend, we met at the races."

"It's Amaya." She then rolled her eyes.

"Well Amaya, lovely name." She smiled like an idiot and looked down.

"Thanks."

"Anytime sweetheart." She was slowly starting to blush. Awe she likes him! She never blushes over anything! My Amaya likes someone! "Anyways, I gotta go back to my table. The boys will be wondering where I am. Bye y'all."

"Bye Chase."

"Amaya, would you like to confess to anything?" Neveyah and me were gonna get the truth out of her.

"I dont think so. I haven't done anything."

"Amaya, do you have a crush on a certain someone?" Neveyah whispered where only we could hear it.

"No! Hell no! I don't have crushes and you know that! I think guys are hot and shit but I would never have a crush on anyone!" Everyone was gawking at us now. Well this was gonna be harder than I thought.

Hell what I was thinking we're trying to get Amaya to confess she likes Chase when I won't even confess to myself that I like Treyvyn! Oh shit! Did I just say that? I do not like Treyvyn or will I ever! I will not fall for his hotness or his arrogance or..okay that's enough Emerly! Dear lord what am I going to do?
