(ROSALIE'S P.O.V)
Content.
The feeling I am unaware of until this very moment. Bella had fallen asleep several hours ago but I refuse to leave her side. She looks so peaceful in her sleep and I feel so content just watching her all night. Yeah sounds creepy but I can't help it. My human MATE is too beautiful to resist.
"Rose..." my sister called to me from the closed door.
"Come in Alice." I responded without taking my eyes off to the sleeping form next to me. Alice entered the room quietly being careful not to wake up my human mate. In my peripheral vision, I can see a small smile in Alice' feature.
"You know, you look even more beautiful without a usual scowl on your face. Right now, you look so relax, calm and peaceful. It's nice." she said as she sat down on the bed. My only response is a smile because honestly I don't know what to say to that. After a moment I heard her heaved a sigh before continuing to speak "Rose, I know you don't want to leave Bella even for a second but you need to hunt. The sun is about to rise and it's Monday we have school later."
I groaned at the thought of school. I don't think I can control myself anymore if that pervert Mike keep staring at Bella inappropriately.
"Remind me again why I am not allowed to kill that boy Mike." I said seriously which earned a giggle from my tiny sister.
"Because Rosalie, you can't let the green eyed monster control you. Now shoo! Go hunting while Bella is asleep. I'll watch over her, I promise." I let out an unnecessary sigh before placing a gentle kiss on Bella's forehead. Alice was right, I need to hunt. I reluctantly got up from the bed while Alice took the spot I just vacated. She laid a little too closer to my human mate earning a disapproving look from me.
"Alice if I didn't knew any better I would think you like to meet the green eyed monster too. You do realize you're closer to my mate than necessary, right?" I said to her threateningly when I saw her arm laid comfortably at Bella's waist. Of course Alice is well... Alice. My threat didn't scared her even just a bit. Instead, she rolled her eyes as she shoo me away to leave. I narrowed my eyes to this as I speak again, my tone was firm. "Alice! I said-"
"Rosalie your jealousy is a bit too much. I'm not going to take her away from you, okay? Now, be quiet you're waking Bella up." she cut me short before I could threaten her again. Bella stirred a little, fortunately she didn't woke up. Another sigh escaped my lips before turning to the door.
"I won't be long." I said simply before closing the door and leave.
The sun had already rose when I came back from the hunt. I made sure to be quick and full before going back to my sleeping mate. To my relief, Bella still peacefully asleep in Alice side when I got to my room. My sister aren't lying that close to my mate anymore, she's now currently sitting beside my mate reading a magazine to entertain herself. She looked up from the magazine meeting my gaze. A smile gracing her face. I return the smile, silently thanking her for staying with Bella while I'm out. Without a word she got off of the bed and leave the room quietly with a nod.
I don't know how long I've been watching Bella sleep. Her presence alone is enough to make me forget everything around me. I know I need to wake her up soon so we won't be late in school but I don't want to, I don't want this blissful moment end. I wish I can keep her here forever. I know I will never be tired just looking at her.
My musing came to a stop when I heard my human's heartbeat began to speed up, a sign that Bella is waking up. I watch her as her eyes sleepily blink a few times before her gaze settled to me. A smile forming her lips.
"Good Morning, Bella." I greeted softly at her.
"Morning, Rosalie..." she replied rubbing her eyes adorably. "Do I need to get up? I'm too lazy, your bed is too comfortable and smell nice."
