(BELLA'S P.O.V)
My smile didn't wavered even after Rose dropped me home. I am so happy I feel like I was floating in a cloudnine. I still can't believe the woman I'm in love with is my mate! I wonder how will Renee and Charlie will react to this. I mean I'm dating a woman, a very gorgeous woman. Renee will surely won't have a problem I'm dating a woman, if anything she will be more delighted to meet Rose. Charlie though... I don't know. Maybe he'll be okay with it if he saw me happy? Doubtful. Charlie grew old here in a small town of Forks where everything was normal (as far as humans know) and being in love with same gender is considered 'not normal' in most people. I can only hope Charlie is not one of those 'most people'
My musing was interrupted by the loud ringing of the telephone. Distractedly, I picked up the phone asking curiously who's on the other line. It was Charlie. Informing me that he'll be home late tonight. After reassuring her that I'll be okay on my own for a few hours, we said our goodbyes and hang up.
After the call, I head to my room and work on my assignments which I found it difficult to concentrate as Rosalie's angelic face always popping up on my mind distracting my concentration. A few hours later I finally finished my school work and decided to start preparing dinner. I was startled when I saw someone already making dinner at the kitchen.
"Smells yummy." I breathed hungrily. I never realized how hungry I am until I smelt food making my stomach let out a growl. Jane just giggled shaking her head in amusement. "How long have you been here?"
"Long enough to witness you struggling to focused on your homework." Jane said smirking as she place a plate in front of me and put a slice of lasagna to it. I almost drool at the smell but then Jane spoke again making me blush instead "Rosalie can be quite a distraction, can't she?"
"How did you know it was Rosalie that making me distracted?" I asked curiously while I began digging in my lasagna. "Delicious as always, Jane. Thank you."
"Only Rosalie can cause that dreamy look on your face. Mind telling your bestfriend the details?" Jane eagerly sat down facing me, waiting expectantly for me to begin telling her the 'details.'
"What makes you think there's 'details' to tell about?" I asked quirking a brow as I looked at her.
"There has to be! Can't you see yourself? You've been smiling ear to ear, you have that dreamy look on your face and you are happier than usual. Spill it, Princess. I want details." I sighed. I know Jane won't stop pestering me until I give in. That girl erm.. woman is such a persuasive when she wants to.
"I realized I'm in love with her." I said simply searching any negative reaction from her expression. I let out a relieve sigh when I found none. As my best friend, Jane's acceptance of my preference and relationship means a lot to me.
"It's about time, Princess!" Jane genuinely said with a wide grin plastered on her younger-looking face. "So, what else happened? Did you kissed her?"
I blushed. "S-she kissed me first this morning then at lunch we left the school to talk privately. I told her my unpleasant past back in Phoenix for awhile, the next thing I know I was kissing her."
"I'm surprised you told her. After that incident you never mentioned about it again, ever." Jane commented with a hint of sadness and worry in her voice. "How are you feeling?"
I smiled genuinely. Oddly enough, I feel so much better. It feels great to have someone like Rosalie to open up with. "I feel perfectly fine." I replied to her truthfully.
"Good." was the only response I heard before I felt her embracing me from behind. "I am so happy for you, Princess. You're lucky to meet your mate sooner than the others."
