The talk between the Cullens and Riley was tensed for lack of better term. Edward and Emmet was less than friendly, actually everyone was but the family except Edward and Emmet tried to at least to be civil. To Rosalie, the meeting took forever before it ended but in reality it only took an hour or so. Rosalie doesn't really want to be there.. all she wanted is to curl up in bed with her mate even the said mate was asleep.
Both sides reached an agreement to protect Bree and have Carlisle monitor her pregnancy until she give birth and in return, Riley would tell them everything he knows about Victoria's plan and will have to fight against her when the time comes. After everything was dealt with assuming they succeed, Riley promised to disappear with Bree and their baby and never to bother the Cullens again, though Rosalie know Bella would be sad by this, for now she would just agree and maybe talk to Bella and Riley later.
The Cullens, Jane and Riley talked more, Riley revealed Victoria's plans, the Cullens listened and made their own strategic plans, with Jane adding her own input and Rosalie eager to end the conversation. Not that she's not interested how to defeat Victoria she would gladly fight the bitch on her own kill her then bring her back to life just to torture her and finally kill her again.
After an hour or so they finally bid their goodbyes to Rosalie's relief. She didn't even wait for Riley to get out of their door or Jane to bid her own goodbye before she blurred to their room where her mate is sleeping. As soon as she saw her sleeping form a content smile made its way to Rosalie's face. She still can't believe how she deserves this wonderful woman as her mate but she's thankful to have her and promised to never take her for granted.
She carefully laid beside her mate's sleeping form, kiss her forehead gently and hold her close. A pleasant purr comes out of her as she too close her eyes to rest. She's not asleep, of course. She's vampire after all, they never sleep but that doesn't mean she can't lay beside her mate and seek comfort.
"Morning, Bella" Rosalie greeted when her mate finally open those gorgeous brown eyes she loves so much. Bella rubbed her eyes tiredly but smiled happily seeing her vampire still cuddled to her. She murmured a sleepy Mornin' before she yawn and pull Rosalie closer to try going back to sleep with her face buried in Rosalie's neck.
"You're adorably cute, Princess but we need to get up." Bella groaned and tightened her hold to Rosalie not liking the idea.
"Ugh, can't we skip school today?" Bella looked at her with those puppy eyes she can't say no to and an adorable pout adoring Bella's face. Luckily, Esme chose that moment to barge in their room holding a tray full of foods for Bella before Rosalie could formulate a word to Bella's request.
"Bella dear, Good Morning. I brought you breakfast." Esme said as she put down the tray to the bed making Bella sit up from her position and look at the food forgetting about school for a moment.
"Thank you, Esme though I don't know what I did to deserve breakfast in bed." Bella smiled at Esme happily before reaching for the coffee to drink. A moan of delight can be heard as the taste of the coffee touch her tongue. Esme's smile got bigger and brighter seeing how much Bella likes the coffee she made.
"With the days you had like yesterday I'm more than sure you deserves to have breakfast serve to you in bed." Esme said remembering of what transpired the past few days. A frown made its way to her face knowing the next coming days will only get worse with Bree's arrival and the preparation of the incoming war between them and Victoria's newborn army. Looking at Rosalie, Esme doesn't need to be a mind reader to know she's thinking the same thing. Esme reached for Rosalie's hand and squeeze it, a gesture Rosalie understood as a support, that she's not alone because whatever happens she always has her family by her side. Seeing the grateful look on Rosalie's face, Esme smiled turned her attention to Bella who's happily eating the breakfast she made. "Enjoy your breakfast, Bella. I will be just downstairs if you need me." with a nod and a soft thank you again from Bella, Esme left the two in their room.
