Love or Heartbreak

Chapter 3

Briar's POV

I feel someone tap my shoulder. "What do you think you are doing." I turn around and answer. "Hugging Myles. By the way, I am Briar and you are?" "Abi. The best dancer in Canada. And that is my boyfriend that you are hugging." "Abi," Myles said, "we broke up MONTHS ago." "No, we were just on a break, remember babe?" Myles shook his head. "We broke up." "Briar, do you want Myles?" "Ok, we are going to fight for him, a dance-off." she says before I can even answer. "Umm ok, but Myles isn't a prize. He is a person. Not a trophy." "A dance-off, but no prizes. Meet in 5." I nod my head and get changed. 

Myles' POV

When Briar is finished changing, I approach here. "Briar, Abi is a great dancer. Are you sure you can beat her?" "I am sure." she says. Briar and Abi stand in the middle of the dance floor. "Ready?" Abi says "Ready." Briar says. They stand in their corner. Briar is doing flipping like mad. Abi is doing a sort of acro thing too but she messes up half way. Everyone is cheering "Briar, Briar, Briar!" Briar wins, but Abi says it was an off day for her. Liar.    

Briar's POV

I won and I hear Abi whisper in my ear something. It was a threat to hurt me or something. Abi walks off and I then stand there, looking at the floor when Myles walks up to me and smiles. "You did really well." I look up. "You think so?" I ask. "I know so."

Myles' POV

I walk up to the bar and order to lemonades for Briar and I. "Devon and Abbey, Brooke and Josh, Tom and Sarah, you and me. We are the only ones who haven't kissed." I say sitting down with Briar. "I mean, a little kiss wouldn't hurt." she says.

Briar's POV

I am talking with Myles and he is talking about our friends hooking up and us being the only ones who haven't kissed yet. I then blurt out, "I mean, a little kiss wouldn't hurt." We then both lean in and kiss. Our lips connected and we held for a few seconds. I then hear cheering and look at Myles' friends. "I knew you liked her." And vis verse. Me and Myles kiss a little longer and it is amazing.  

Myles' POV

I wish this moment could last forever. Briar's lips are so soft and I love every second of it. This is an amazing moment and I would never leaver her lips. I felt like a young boy falling in love for the first time ever. This is going to be a long night.
