Chapter 10

Camila Pov:

Picking up where we left off.

"Alright guys we can head out now", Lauren say, once she gets back to the table, from throwing away our trash.

"What do you mean we", Sofi asked, sounding polite.

"Camila tells me you guys are livining in a one bedroom apartment, but since I knew her from highschool you guys can crash  at my place", Lauren says, with a smile.

"Oh my god really, sleeping in one bed with the both of them is not fun", Sofi said, making Camryn gasp.

"You kick me and mommy", she explained slowly.

We all laughed at that.

"I walked here so its not far", Lauren tells me.

"I took my car here, while those two slow pokes took her car, so you can drive mine while Sofi follow", I ask, laughing at the two year old.

"Yea thats fine, lets go", she says standing.

Once everyone was settled in the two cars, Lauren pulled out the parking lot heading to her home.

When we pull inside of Lauren’s driveway I gasped.

"What's worng", Lauren said, looking worried.

"It just I haven't lived in a house ever since I left my parents", I mumble lookimg at the house.

This house was nice. It had a modern feel on it. Panted in white and black. The front yard was a medium size, with a tire swing on the tree.

"Come on, Sofi and Camryn looks like they are about to get out", Lauren says getting out the door.

When Lauren was about to put the key in, the door just slammed open, scaring my daughter.

"Corey what the fuck dude, you're scaring her", Lauren says, picking up Camryn.

"I'm so sorry ", the guy rushed to say.

"Here is your food, enjoy", she said tossing him the McDonalds bag.

"Okay, sorry about him, he only says here when his girlfriend kicks him out", Lauren say, trying to ease us.

"Lauren you have one unhappy customer on your hands, this food is cold".

"Corey shut up", Lauren says taking us in a hall.

"Well this house is a three bedroom so Camila you are crashing in my room", she said as if telling me don't speak

After Lauren gave us a tour of her house, we all went in her living room to watch a movie.

"Come with me", Lauren say tip toeing out the room.

I look over to see my sister and daughter peacefully watching TV not minding us, so I crept out with Lauren.

"Lauren", I whisper yell, not knowing where she went.

"In our room", she whispered back, causeing me too smile.

When I walk in she siting on the edge of the bed.

"Camryn is two now correct", she asked.

"Yes", I say softly.

"Camila things probably didnt work out well before but we have grown from our mistakes and I don't won't us fightong or being weird with each other", I smile knowing that she want to claim our daughter as her own.

"I agree", I say smiling.

"Lauren I still love you and I know your mad abo-", I was cut off by Lauren.

"I've never been mad at you, like I said if the opportunity presented itself to me to get my family back, I would've done the same", she says looking sincere.

"C-can we uh mhm start over again ", I say lookibg in her eyes.

"It'll be hard to forget but we can try it out".

I smile widely rushing over to hug her.

Once I feel her arms wrap around me I know this is where I wanna be.
