It's amazing of what a smile can hide
Or what a few words can cover up.
But if you look in her eyes,
She's dead inside
All she wants is to stop the lies
Stop her pain
She just wants to stop
She doesn't want to bore you with her problems
She doesn't want to hurt people
She doesn't want to be here
But she stays anyway
Just to make you happy
Just to make sure you're okay
She lies through her teeth so you're fine
Just so you don't ever feel like her
And she covers it with a smile
Or even with some words
But her eyes say it all
That on the inside she's dead
