Wonderland

I left my window open for Peter Pan to come take me to Neverland
I only wanted to be Wendy
I talked to animals begging them to be my friends
I only wanted to be Snow White
I cried for nights on end hoping that my Fairy Godmother would come and save me.
I only wanted to be Cinderella
I locked myself in my room and stayed there for weeks. Waiting for someone
I only wanted to be Rapunzel
I wore red capes and went on adventures in the woods to see someone that I loved.
I only wanted to be Little Red Riding Hood.
If only I was a princess,
Because then all my wishes would come true
But that's all just a fairytale
Because if it was real,
I wouldn't wish I was in Wonderland
