Masks

From a young age,

We learn to make people happy.

By faking a smile or laugh

But now we're older and secretive

We wear masks so people don't see how we feel.

We learned to mask ourselves away from people.

We "laugh" and "smile"

So no-one can see how we feel.

We learn to wear masks to cover up how we feel.

We learn  to always be happy

But not all of can be

Not everyone can be happy

From a young age,

We learn to wear masks
