The Crime Scene

Lorelai drives a van down the street, filled with four boys who belong to a famous boy band, and is surrounded by other completely black vans and cars as they guard them. Lorelia thought that was a stupid idea. Paul wanted them to be inconspicious and secretive, for nobody to know that One Direction was in the car. So he sticks four other FBI looking cars surrounding them, real secretive.

"Why didn't Paul want us to come to the crime scene" Liam asks.

"My guess is that, if it was just a body with a bullet in its side or something, he wouldn't care as much, but he does. So this crime scene must not be very pretty" she answers.

"And you think there's a mole" Harry says in disbelief.

Lorelai knows he's thinking back to the conversation she had with Paul on the phone where he said he was going to send extra guards to watch the boys while she went to the crime scene, but she said no. She wanted the boys with her at all times.

"I'm not postive if there is or not, but I want you guys with me just in case". Her fists tighten on the steering wheel as she says that, at the thought of someone on the inside working with the shooter.

"Well what makes you think that in the first place" Niall asks.

"Well, those three didn't magically stumble across the club Louis happened to be at. They followed him there, or someone followed them and told them to go there. Either way someone was watching you from the moment you left the house, and that someone was either a guard we have there at the house, stationed on the outside, or the someone who somehow eluded our guards. By the way Louis, how did you get all the way around the house without running into any of the guards?"

"Just didn't see any" he answers with a stiff voice.

"Well that's comforting"Lorelai sighs shaking her head.

The rest of the drive is quiet until Lorelai pulls onto a street littered with police cars, ambulances, and several other vechicles.

"Why are there ambulances if the bodies are already dead" Harry asks.

Lorelai ignores the question from Harry who is riding shotgun and turns so that she can see him and the other three boys who are in the back seat.

"I would tell you guys again, wait in the car. But it seems that every time I say that, you guys do the exact opposite. So I'm not gonna tell you to stay in the car, if you wanna come out, come on out. But I will tell you this. If you look over to the right, where that alley is" she says pointing to an opening in the street that's cut off by yellow police tape. "There are three bodies back there. It could be a simple three bodies with bullet wounds to the head, or decapitated and skinned bodies. But either way, it's not gonna be pretty. If you follow me out of this car, and see those bodies, it doesn't matter if it's the first body you've ever seen or the hundredth, you will never forget it.  So if you want to come take a look and have nightmares for the rest of your lives, be my guest. But if you're smart, you'll stay in the car".

She finishes her speech with a last glance at each of the boys. Each one of them looks scared, even if some are better at hiding it than others. She turns back and looks out the window. She takes a deep breathe bracing herself for what she's about to see and opens the car door.

As Louis watches her get out of the car he can't help but think that when she was talking about never forgetting, she was talking about personnal experiences. He watches as she walks over to the crime scene, and when she turns facing the opening of the alley, she freezes. A hand goes to her mouth while the other fist clenches at her side. She turns to the van while putting her hand back down at her side. She looks at them for a second before closing her eyes and turning back to the scene. She takes a deep breathe and visibly forces herself to relax before opening her eyes and beggining to walk forward.
