The next day, Jonah and I woke up early and headed to the town. I was wearing a blue dress, with a dark blue corset, and shoes. We got to the town by flying. When we got there, I was amazed by how beautiful the town looked. It was like a fairytale town; there were bakers, blacksmiths, women knitting clothes for their children, seamstresses making dresses, children running around. It was gorgeous; there was nothing compared to this in Houston, Texas. And I'm sure, in any other city.
Jonah took me to meet his old friend, the baker. We walked through the streets until we saw him, making bread in his store. We went inside, and Jonah went inside the kitchen while I only entered the store.
"Mr. Rims!" Said Jonah.
The baker turned around, and saw him. "Jonah!" They hugged for a while. "How've you been? I haven't seen you in ages; not since you were about... thirteen."
"I know, I haven't had enough time to come around and say hello."
"So what brings you here?"
"Well, I'd like to introduce you to a very special friend." They walked to me, and Jonah introduced me to Mr. Rims. "Mr. Rims, I'd like to you meet my friend, Shaylee. Shaylee, this is Mr. Rims, an old friend of mine."
Mr. Rims extended his hand and I shook it. "How are you?"
"I'm fine, thank you."
"Well, I have to say, she is very beautiful." He said, possibly to Jonah. Jonah looked at me, and smiled a mischievous smile. I smiled back.
We stayed at the baker's store for a while, and then I decided to go and see the town while Jonah bought some things for the house. I was walking through the flower shop, when a nice-looking young man with black hair stopped me. He said,
"What's a girl like you doing in a flower shop all alone?"
"Nothing, just looking around." I said.
"Do you have a boyfriend?"
"No."
"I can fix that..." He got near me, and grabbed my waist. Then, he tried kissing me but I kept pulling back and away from him. Finally, he let me go. "Why are you making yourself hard to get?"
"Because I don't want you."
The young man with black hair was about to get angry, when suddenly, the door to te flower shop opened. It was Jonah. A sighed of relief followed the action of the door opening. He walked towards me, while the other man was still there, and getting angry because I rejected him. Guess he just can't have one girl say 'no' to him.
"Shaylee, there you are! Let's go, today something really cool happens and I want you to see it."
"What happens today?" I asked.
"The water fairies are doing this dance for the rain; and after their dance it starts raining and it just makes the sunset and night more beautiful and magical. And, I want you to see it."
I smiled at this. It actually sounded fun. "Okay, let's go then."
Jonah and I left the flower shop, leaving behind the angry-looking young man. We flew to the cottage, and when we got there, we unpacked everything we bought today; bread, some flowers, and a few cool-looking objects.
A few minutes later, Jonah and I left the house to go to where the water fairies were doing their rain dance. He took me to a lake, where there was a willow tree, and a million blue fairies lined up into neat rows. Next thing we know, those fairies rose up into the sky, and began their dance for the rain.
