While I rant about grammar lookouts, I also like to talk about people who boast about being able to talk in English fluently.
I think there are two types:
The ones who can really talk/write in an impressive way.
And the ones who can't.First, the ones who can.
Yeah, we get it, you're good and all but do you really have to brag about it?
We were impressed and amazed and we even idolized you... until you bragged.
Wrong move dear, wrong move.
Then, there are the ones who can't.
They are soooooo annoying.
Imagine seeing a Facebook user who wrote a status bragging about being good-even great-in English only to embarrass himself? Why? Because he got the words all jumbled up and his grammar flying everywhere.
Smartass.
Just stop and don't brag at all. Maybe we can stop all this humiliation and annoyance once and for all.
Thank you.
