Review #11: Kuroko No Basket

Title Critique: Oh! I know this! Oh my gosh, finally a title I can actually interpret! Ok so Kuroko is a Japanese name, and there's the word Basket (which is Basketball...) So the translated version is The Basket Ball Kuroko plays! Ha! Japanese dub thank you! This manga/anime also goes by another name called: Kuroko No Basuke. So yes, guys, I'm doing a sports manga... the first one here!

Episodes/Chapters: There are a total of 275 chapters, and it is completed! Yes! A manga that is actually completed! Each chapter is roughly a good 20 – 30 scans, but in the beginning there's a lot more! Also, there are about 2 seasons of Kuroko no Basket

Plot: It's another year of high school, but this year is the year that'll change everything in the basketball realm. The Generation of Miracles, a basketball team of 5 outstanding players, were to become freshmen in high school. However, there is rumor of a sixth player... a player also known at the 6th Phantom Player, the player that the other 5 members of the Generation of Miracles agree to be the best player.

Kuroko, the 6th Phantom Player, enters into the high school basketball team, but once they figure out who he is, they find it hard to believe. Kuroko is small, weak, and easy to miss, but yet... he may have a secret behind his title. Other than being a member of the high school team, he earns a new friend, who covers what he lacks. Will these two help bring their team to the nationals? How will they fair against the other Generation of Miracles? Read on friends!

Rating from 1 – 10: So I was never a huge fan of sports mangas... I mean all you really see are huge, impossibly well-built people who sweat like crazy playing games. Sorry to those who really love those mangas (like Whistle, Prince of Tennis, etc). In any case, for a genre I don't really fancy, I really took a fancy to this manga/anime (read and watched it). My favorite character is Kuroko because I can see myself in him... just a tad. It's ok my friend! I feel! So for this awesome manga, I rate it a 6. Sorry, there are some parts where I was like... eh... Sweat... Sweat... but... it was still good. It still passed a 5 at least.

So yeah, that's my review. Honestly I don't know if people are reading this... xD. But I'ma keep going. On my other website, I noticed some comments saying that my reviews are a little outdated, so I'll answer that comment here too. My reviews are only relevant to the day I made it. I know that some of the animes/mangas I review are still ongoing, but it would be a lot of work if I had to keep going back to change every update. So please bare with me.
