When i woke up i smelled breakfast from downatairs being cooked. I know my husband has he times but i have to say the food smelled good. As i got out of bed i headed downstairs seeing me daughter Jasmine sitting in her high chair eating her bacon and grits drinking orange juice. Seeing her happy always made my day. I said good morning to Robert and he didnt say nothing back. I looked at him and he looked at me.
I fixed myself a plate to eat so i could get ready to go to work. As i ate Rob took Jasmine out of her chair and took her in the living room so she could play with her toys. Once he did that i started to eat because whatever he was up to i was scared.
"Nikki" he said. I looked up at him and he was looking like he was going to punch me but he didnt. I answered him and said "hmm". He said he wants to take me out to dinner. I was shocked because he would never take me out somewhere fancy. As i got up he took my plate and washed it. I headed up stairs to get wash up and get ready for work i looked behind me and he grabbed me arms and im the other arm he had a belt. With the hand that had the belt he hit me to when there was red spots on me. As i got in the tub i felt like crying because of what he did but i couldnt let my daughter ever see her mom cry because that shows that im weak.
I stepped out looking at the time and i had only and hour to get dressed and drop Jasmine off at the baby sitters house. I quickly put on some cloths and got my car keys and headed out with my daughter in my hands going to the car.
