Now I'm stressed because I don't know what to do, so I walked to my car and drove to Lucas's house. Now Lucas I guess you can say is my best friend but I kinda have a crush on him since he started going to my school, my sophomore year and his freshman year over time we became close. Lucas is smart and Is gifted which explains how he is in my classes. He lives 10 minutes away from me in a small 3 bedroom house. With his parents, grandfather and older cousin Trey who is 26. Lucas's dad Is a French white man, while his mother is African American, there family moved here from Georgia so he has a lil accent.
I walked up to there front door and knocked then waited. Trey answered the door.
"Hey he in his room" he said stepping back as I walked in and I just nodded going to Lucas's room after taking my shoes off at the door. When I got to his door I could hear his loud music,I opened the door to see him dancing in the mirror he tried to do the running man and fell down, I started cracking up laughing and caught his attention. He looked up at me and smiled big which made me smile back his smile gave me butterflies. He got up and turned the music off.
"Hey" he said welcomely it was always interesting because his deep voice often made him seem intimidating and caused people to fear him at school but he was real kind and surprised everyone
"Hi"I said changing my mood thinking about my talk with DJ
"What's wrong"He said
"Everything"I said being dramatic falling back on his bed and going on his laptop looking at colleges
"What you mean"he said sitting on top off his dresser
"Red is leaving the game and giving everything to DJ, his mansion and everything, he wants me to live there with him , and he'll buy mamma and Sariah a place of there own"I said sighing
"So what's the problem" he said
"I'm don't want to move with him but it's our only way out of this place."
"Do you love him" He asked I looked at him and shrugged
"Well what did you say to him"Lucas said curiously
"I told him I don't know then he got all salty and the got a call from someone they were talking about going to meet up with some girls right in my face" I said all the while I seen a college that caught my eye Howard university that's the one Pryce from History in the Making likes.
"Then don't go with him" he said
"But how do I tell him" I said crying a bit
"Don't worry about that yet you just go talk to your mamma first imma help you out ight love" he said wiping away my tears
"Okay" I said
Moments later I got a call from DJ..
