Brittany POV
I stood at Lucas's front door with Sariah waiting for a response, today Lucas had invited us over to just chill out. Trey opened the door and picked up Sariah spinning her around and tickling her she was laughing so hard it was adorable. I closed their front door and locked it.
"Hello Brittany"Lucas's mother said to me
"Hey ma coly" I said giving her a hug
"Hey Princess Riah" she said playing with Sariah .
"Can I have food?"Sariah asked. I was super embarrassed
"Sure Brit you know where everything is you guys help yourself"She said
"Oh let me call this boy out here....."she said before she started yelling in French walking back Into her bedroom. Lucas's overly tall self came running in and picked me up spinning me around similarly to the way Trey spinned Sariah.
"Naw but what's up"He said putting me down
"Yo Brittany don't you still go with dude"Trey asked putting Sariah on the islan that separated the kitchen and living room
"Nah I broke up with him yesterday"I said
"Wait you really did?!"Lucas asked
"Yeah"I replied
"Because I was going to tell you I seen dude with these girl last week"he said part of me didn't care but then something told me to ask who, and when I did Trey described the girl and it seemed like he was describing Mia but naw she wouldn't do that
"That sound like Mia"Lucas said
"No it can't be" I said
"Excuse me I'm hungry"Sariah said politely
"Y'all better stop playing and fix lil mama her food, I'm out "Trey said walking out the front door
"Come on"Lucas said as we walked into the kitchen making lunch as we all made sandwiches it was silent until Lucas spoke
"How did breaking up with DJ go?"he asked
"Well not that good"I confessed "he hit me"I said quietly
"Wtf"Lucas yelled "why didn't you tell me, Imma handle him"Lucas said
"No"Lucas I said scared for Lucas not that Lucas couldn't take DJ but DJ has a lot of "friends"
"Naw he can't just do that to you"Lucas said
"Lucas he apologized lets just drop it"I said Lucas looked at me like I was crazy
"And since he apologized it's okay"He said mad
"Look I'm don't with him I don't want you messing with that you know what he does"I Said
"Yeah but I know some people too"Lucas said. I rolled my eyes he is so stubborn sometimes
"But don't want to risk it, I don't know what I would do if you got hurt"I said he looked at me and calmed down
"If it happens a gun I swear I'll kill him"he said
"Me too"Sariah said I had forgot she was here to be honest
"Umm that's okay Sariah ...you know lets go watch some cartoons"Lucas suggested before we all headed to Lucas's room. He put on Up and I was into it when my phone ringed I hurried up and answered it once I seen Sariah and Lucas sleep.
"Hello"I said quietly
"Girl I heard you got into it with DJ"Mia said on the other line. At first I wondered how she knew but then I remembered what Trey said earlier
"Yeah but I'm done with him"I said
"Are you planning on telling about what he does, I'm mean I know I probably would." She said I rolled my eyes
"Naw you know I'm not the type to snitch"I said
"Yeah true but are you sure"she asked
"Positive "I said
"Okay well I got to go talk to you later"she said before hanging up
"What's wrong?" Lucas asked
"Mia wanted to know if I was going to snitch on DJ"I said
"So it was them who Trey Seen"Lucas sighed. I just nodded I felt betrayed those two out of all people. They were the only people who I talked to and of course Lucas. I,looked and turned to him he gave a faint smile and held my hand. I smiled act the fact he has always been there for me.
