"I don't care what they say." Zach says into Liv's ear, and wraps his arm around her waist as she buries her head into his shoulder. "PDA! PDA!" Her friends call from behind them on their way back from lunch. Just before they break apart to go to their classes, Zach gives Liv a hug, and she takes in the scent of him, memorizing and labeling it "Golden." For the rest of their class times, they both fidget in their seats, thinking about the other and what they are doing. The moment the bell rings, Liv runs to her cheer practice and Zach goes off to his wrestling practice. Just like when they're in class and apart from each other, they still think about each other every minute. When after school sports is over, they get on their phones and immediately start texting the other and smiling and skipping a heart beat and getting butterflies every time the other responds, but never admitting it. Once they have to go to bed, they send text messages that are along the lines of "I love you I have to go to bed goodnight." Until they can actually fall asleep, they lay awake at night wishing the other person was there, also wishing that they could fall asleep and dream of them together. But, like they say, "If you can't fall asleep that means that you're in another person's dream."
