they say there's a moral
to every choice that we make.
that there's a lesson to be learned
from each mistake we've made.
that there's something to remember
with each memory that's made.
but sometimes there is only suffering.
there's no lesson to be learned,
there's no character that's being built,
there's no storyline advancing.
there is just pain.
