she didn't see you for a while. not at school or the diner. and she didn't have anyway of contacting you.

she thought maybe you were starting to believe what everyone else said about her.

but then she heard that you had been suspended for fighting with him. she heard that it was about her, but no one really knew the details.

she didn't know if she should believe them or not.

so when she ran into you on the way home she realized the rumors were true. you had a bruise on your left eye and a few scratches.

she asked you what happened and you told her.

you told her that you had heard him saying things about you that weren't quite nice. you couldn't take it anymore and decided to talk to him. it had quickly escalated and turned into a fight.

she felt bad that you weren't in school because of her.
