Jungkook walked out of the school gates and sighed. That Taehyung kid is really a bother. How is he supposed to focus on school while staying away from him, he thought to himself.
He turned the corner however he didn't see the hand that grabbed him away from the sidewalk and into and alley.
Jungkook's eyes widened and he tried to scream out but there was a hand covering his mouth. He looked up into the dark abyss that was his attackers eyes.
"Hi Jungkook." A familiar smirk made Jungkook squirm. The hand was slowly lifted away from his mouth.
"What do you want?" He harshly said to the man standing in front of him.
"That's the first time I've ever gotten caught in class for disturbing another student." He said and turned away from Jungkook.
"And? Is that all Kim Taehyung?" Jungkook replied annoyed.
"I'll make you pay somehow." He responded and turned around to face Jungkook who was now up from the floor.
Taehyung walked closer until Jungkook was pressed up against the wall, turned away from him.
"Look at me." He said.
Jungkook didn't move so Taehyung forcefully turned his head to make him face him.
"I can make your life miserable." He said while looking into Jungkook's eyes. "I'll break you."
"You can't break something that's already broken can you?" Jungkook said while glaring at Taehyung.
"We'll see. Maybe I just have to fix you then break you again." Taehyung smirked before letting go and walking away. He didn't even look back as he stepped away from the broken boy. Jungkook slid down the wall until he was sitting on the ground.
What just happened? He asked himself many times. Fix him? Break him? There's no way Taehyung can fix him and then break him again. He's too broken, if that makes any sense.
Jungkook slowly stood up and continued walking home. He stepped inside his house and removed his shoes. While closing the door, he set his shoes down and then headed to his room.
"He's insane." He muttered to himself and rolled onto his bed. He stared at the ceiling and waited. His eyes closed and he was emerged in the depths of sleep.
(Time skip to the next day)
Jungkook sat up abruptly and looked around him. People were shuffling into the room and headed to their seats. He spotted a familiar head just as he entered. Jimin looked over at Jungkook and smiled while heading over to him."Hey Jungkook." He said and ruffled the younger's hair.
"Morning Hyung." Jungkook said with a smile.
Jimin sat down slowly. He had a worried expression on his face.
"What's wrong?" Jungkook asked as he noticed Jimin's uneasiness.
"Well," he ran his fingers through his hair. "I might be moving very soon."
Jungkook paled. He blinked once, twice making sure he heard his hyung correctly.
"Y-you're moving?" He asked.
"Well, not right now but maybe like in two months." Jimin replied with a sigh.
"Why?" Jungkook asked.
"My dad got a job opportunity in America. He's possibly taking it." Jimin said with a frown. "I don't understand why he can't just go by himself. I never liked that old man." He muttered under his breath.
"I-I," Jungkook started to say, "Hyung."
"Yeah?" Jimin replied and looked over. Jungkook was staring at his desk worried.
"How am I going to get through the day without you?" He asked and ran a hand through his hair. "Not to sound selfish or clingy but you are my first true friend. I don't want to loose you already." Tears gathered in his eyes as he thought about it.
"Jungkook, I, wait what? I was your first true friend?" Jimin replied.
"Yeah. I used to hang out with people I thought of as my friends but they turned on me and I was all alone from first grade all the way to this year until I met you."
Jimin stood up and kneeled down in front of Jungkook. He placed his hands on his shoulders and then pulled him in for a hug. Jungkook was shocked at first but then wrapped his arms around Jimin.
"I'll try my very hardest not to leave. I can't make any promises but I will say I will do everything I can to stay here for you." Jimin said and Jungkook just nodded as he was unable to say anything. The lump in his throat made it very hard to speak.
The bell rung and they awkwardly pulled away and Jungkook wiped his eyes. Everyone headed back to their own seats as the teacher walked in. Taehyung came in a minute later arriving in his usually manner. Smirk and all. He glanced over at Jungkook but Jungkook didn't even notice due to the fact that he was in his own thoughts. He was worried that he might loose his first friend forever.
Taehyung noticed him in this state and sat down quietly next to him. He glanced over many times watching the younger space out into his thoughts. The bell rang again and finally Jungkook snapped out of it and looked up. He looked around confused and slowly stood up. He headed out of the classroom but he didn't head for his next class. He lagged behind everyone else and started heading in the opposite direction.
Taehyung silently followed along behind him. He headed towards the small forest near the back of the school and followed a secluded path. Taehyung walked soundlessly behind him.
Jungkook sighed and stopped at the edge of the path. Taehyung hid behind a bush and peeked up at him. Jungkook walked farther in. Taehyung noiselessly stood up and once again started to follow Jungkook.
"Jimin why do you have to leave?" He called out to no one in particular.
"Why? Why do you have to leave me alone. Even if you try to stay I know your going to leave me. They always do no matter what." He said and squatted down while putting his head in his hands.
"They always do."
