JUNGKOOK'S POV
"Jungkook-ah,..." Jimin calls out and Jungkook turns to face him. His smile falls when he sees that Jimin isn't smiling at all. "Kookie, I-I'm sorry." He sighs and plays with his own hands. "I couldn't convince my dad to let me stay. I have to go to the U.S. soon."

Jungkook stays quiet and only stares at Jimin. He couldn't bring himself to say anything to him at all. Jimin looks up at him and Jungkook lets a tear slip out from the corner of his eyes. Jimin's eyes widen.

"Kookie-" Jimin calls out but Jungkook stands up and stares at at Jimin for a few seconds. Jimin stands up as well and tries to reach out for Jungkook but Jungkook moves back away from him and runs for the door.

Jungkook dashes away from the classroom and heads to the first place he thinks of, the hidden meadow.

He catches his breath before he falls to the floor and balls his shirt in his fist over his chest. A few more warm tears make their way down his pale face and land in the vibrant green grass. His brown eyes seem lifeless as he thinks over what Jimin just told him.

"Kookie I couldn't convince my dad to let me stay."

Another tear.

"I have to go to the U.S. soon."

His eyes clothes and he breaths a light sigh.

"I already knew you couldn't stay. By why does it still hurt so much when you tell me these things? Why am I still hurting?" He whispers to himself but he couldn't stop the tears now. They keep falling down his face splashing onto the petals of flowers and onto the grass.

JIMINS's POV
Jungkook stands up surprising Jimin. He glances up at him and sees the tears clouding the younger's eyes. He stands up as well and reaches out for Jungkook's hand. Jungkook backs up away from him and Jimin fells a pang in his chest.

'Why did he back away?'

Jungkook suddenly sprints for the door and Jimin doesn't have time to react. He turns around but Jungkook is already out.

He starts for the door as well but a hand holds him back. He glances behind him and sees Suga. He shakes his head and pulls Suga back.

"Let him think. He needs time." He whispers to Jimin and let's go of his hand. Jimin is frozen on the spot. He wants to chase after Jungkook but he also knows how heartbroken he must feel right now. Jimin runs a hand through his hair and sighs.

He walks back to his seat and sits down. He lays his head down on his desk and closes his eyes.

'You're such an idiot Jimin. You should've tried harder.' He lifts his head slightly and lets it drop back down, hitting his head on his arm.

'Idiot. Idiot. Look what you've done. You've hurt Jungkook.' This replays in his head as he continues to hit his head on his arm. He hears footsteps approach him but he pays no attention. A hand reaches out and stops Jimin from hitting his head again.

He pauses but slowly glances up at who it is. Suga sighs and pulls a chair over to Jimin's desk.

"I know you're upset but don't hurt yourself because of that. Give him time to cool down, then go to him. Cheer him up." Suga looks over Jimin with a worried expression even though he's trying to hide it.

Jimin stares at Suga and sighs. He nods his head and Suga smiles feeling relieved. Suga reaches up and ruffles Jimin's hair playfully.

"Stop looking so down. This isn't the end for you two."

"I know. I just don't want to leave him alone now." Jimin says. "He told me I was his first true friend. He looked so broken. His eyes were filled with pain. I just.... I feel horrible." Jimin runs his fingers through his own hair. While doing so he feels a tear trail down his cheek. He doesn't move to wipe it away but waits for it to hit the table.

Suga reaches out and gently brushes it away with his delicate fingers.

"Jimin,..." Suga starts but doesn't get to finish as the teacher walks in at that exact moment. Jimin wipes away his tears and motions for Suga to face the front so he won't get in trouble.

Suga hesitates before he turns around but does so anyways after a quick worried expression.

The door gently creaks open and a shadow emerges. Taehyung walks in but not in his usual arrogant way. There are bags under his eyes and he seems to be bent forward slightly, like he is a scolded dog. There is no expression on his face. He just lifelessly walks to his desk and plops down without a word.

Jimin notices this but doesn't care to pay him much mind as he has his own things to worry about. Jungkook still wasn't back yet and he was worried now. Did Jungkook leave school? Was he out wandering around?

'Honestly why didn't you wait to tell him later?' He thinks to himself and sighs.

"What do I do?" The two whisper.
