I'm giving up on you

The big question

Juvias POV

Natsu has been dragging me all over town trying to find stuff for his big reveal. 

So first we set up a plan. I am going to lead Lucy to Natsu; and then he is going to say his little speech then say "Princess will you go out with me." Then it depends on Lucy. Of course also there are going to be fairy lights surrounding a tree. That will be the dining area.

It's going to be gorgeous. Natsu has a ring as well. It's not like a diamond ring or anything. We went shopping; and he saw it. It's a pink ring; and it's shaped like a Princess crown."

Lately though Natsu has been getting really angry. Lucy; and Gray have been hanging around each other a lot. "Natsu Juvia is sure it's nothing." I say to him while we are walking trying to find fairy lights.

Then I suddenly have an idea.
"Hey Natsu, Juvia just thought of a really good idea. Why don't we make our own fairy lights." I say. He gives me a confused look.

"Okay so why don't we just get lacrimas shaped like fairy lights. Then you and Gajeel can just shape them." I suggest. Natsu says "alright I'm all fired up now." Then Natsu hugs me; and says "Thank you so much Juvia. I don't think I could do this without you." Suddenly we hear too coughs.

We both look to see Gray; and Lucy. Natsu immediately lets go of me. It's awkward for a while then Lucy says "Why are you too together?" Natsu says "Juvia was just helping me find somethings. What about you too?"

Lucy says "I'm helping Gray with some stuff." It grows awkward so I say "Natsu, Juvia is just going to go. Find some of the things we talked about; and Juvia will ask Gajeel if he'll help."

I escaped that awkwardness.

Grays POV

We have been shopping finding stuff for operation "Get Juvia back."

It's awkward with Natsu; and Lucy looking at each other like that finally I say "Okay well I think I'm going to go." I say while leaving. Lucy gives me a look.

I slowly make my way back home. Lucy has helped me collect my things to ask Juvia out. It should be interesting. Firstly Juvia is going to be brought by the river she likes so much.

Then I leave a trail of frozen roses. Along with one fake one. Then once that's done Juvia will find me. I am going to say "A speech then we're going to have a picnic. Afterwards Juvia; and I will talk then I'll ask her out. that part I'm still working on.

I hope this works. If she says no I don't know what I'll do. She has done so much for me.

All I did was ignore her, insult her, hurt her, deny my feelings; and so on. I'm kind of nervous; and I'm not used to talking about my feelings.

I would do anything though for Juvia. For the women who has loved me all these years.

Even when I didn't know my feelings. When I saw that waiter guy checking her out and flirting. I wanted to kiss Juvia; and tell him that she is mine. I can't do that yet.

Juvia please wait for me. Don't give up just yet.

Juvias POV

Natsu wanted to do this tomorrow so we've spent all day planning. I am helping putting up the lights. We have all of her favorite foods; and her favorite dessert.

Now we are putting up the lights. Finally I look around. There's the eating area. The food, the ring, Natsu, fairy lights. "Hey Natsu Juvia is going to get her." I say. Natsu nods then is practicing his little speech.

I quickly go to find her. First I look at the guild. I see Lucy with Gray. Snap out of it Juvia! I tell myself shaking my head. First I shake my hair up so I look like I ran then I say while panting "Lucy come quick!" Lucy gives me a look. "What's wrong Juvia?" I frown; and say "I lost my favorite hat!"

Lucy rolls her eyes then says "Where did you lose it?" I say "I'll show you." I begin to tug on her arm as were about to leave. Then Gray says "I'll help to." Uh great gray. "That's fine; but hurry." I once again lead them to the spot. I say "it was right here." As there looking I signal to Natsu by whistling.

He whistles back. I grab my hat from my pocket once Natsu comes out then say "Oh here it is!" Then I quickly leave while dragging Gray with me. Once were out of there I let go of Grays hand. "What was that all about?" He asks as I walk.

I smile then say "Natsu just wants some time with Lucy. You have been monopolizing her time. Juvia helped him." Gray says "Well he was monopolizing your time. Now I know why." I just ignore that and continue walking.

Suddenly I'm stopped "Hey Juvia do you want some ice cream?" He asks suddenly. What is his game? First he takes me out for food then tries kissing me. Now he wants ice cream. Well I did just help Nalu become a thing so yeah. I deserve some. "Sure Gray I would love some ice cream." Gray smiles that beautiful rare smile. "Okay then I'll go get us some." I say "Juvia wants a.... Then I'm interrupted by Gray who says "Strawberry ice cream in a cone."

I stare at him. I can't believe that he knows my favorite ice cream. He notice my shocked face then he chuckles and says "I know information about you to Juvia." It's quite for a bit as we both eat our ice creams. One vanilla; and one strawberry.

I wonder what else he knows about me. Probably not that much since Gray never liked me. Suddenly I felt a flick on my forehead. I snap out of it to see Gray scowling at me. "Stop doing that." He says.

I give him a confused look. "You were upset while you were thinking. You had this sad look on your face." I smile and say "Got me figured out do you Gray. Well it's a little late for that don't you think." I say while standing up. Gray grabs my wrist; and says "Well Juvia you aren't very hard to figure out."
"I know that you love Gajeel like a brother. I know how hard you tried when you first got into fairy tail. I know how you would sacrifice yourself for any of your guild mates. I know that you used to be gloomy. I know that you love strawberry ice cream. I know that your favorite color is blue. I know that you love the rain." He takes a break here to breathe.

"I also noticed the little things like how you always wear that dress. You love your hat. You hate to fail. Your good at art. I notice how you always have your nails nice; and neat. You hate sports. You are a powerful mage." He says while looking right at my eyes.

I can't believe how he knows so much about me. Why is he doing this? What is is gain?

"I know that you love your hair; and take care of it. I know how you have never really had a family until Fairy tale. I know that your eyes are blue; but they go from a million different shades. When your mad they are like ice. When your happy they are a deep calming blue. When you look at me you have a loving blue color. So yes I do know things about you Juvia Lockser."

I., I can't believe he said all those things. All of his things that he noticed about me. It's not everything but it's a start. A start  I don't want. I could tell you everything about Gray. He can't even say half the things I want him to. I start to cry as I say "That's great Gray that you know a couple of things; but those aren't the ones Juvia wanted you to say ." Grays smile falls when I say this.

"Juvia needs to go now." I say as I leave. Gray grabs my wrist; and says "Juvia I just.. I..." I smile and say "Even now you can't say anything. Juvia is leaving now." I say.

Gray doesn't follow me.

I just can't get wrapped up into him again Gray hurt me. A lot; and he still isn't going to say I love you. Oh Gray I'm giving up on you still.
