Five years before the end.

Grays POV

I was getting my car keys, and my coat. I was just waiting for Juvia to come down.
Tonight is a special night. It's our
anniversary! I check my appearance by the mirror making sure I look good.

My black hair is swept back using a lot of hair gel. I have on a black suit with a dark blue undershirt.

"Cough" I turn around to see the most breathtaking women I've ever seen. Her blue waves are put up in a bun with her bangs framing her face.

She is wearing a dark blue dress that has a sweet heart neckline. My heart is beating so fast. Even after being with her, all the time when I look at her it's like the first time all over again.

"You look gorgeous Juvia" I say while grabbing her hand, and placing a kiss on it. A blush rises to her checks. I smile proudly at that.

Grabbing her coat I gently wrap it around her. Then closing the door i lead her to my parked car.

Holding open the door she glides into her seat. Shutting the door I get in. We sit in comfortably in silence as I drive to the spot.

I smile as I pull in. "Gray what are you doing? This isn't a restaurant?" She asks while I open the door.

"No Juvia I wanted to do something a bit different, you don't recognize this place?" I ask leading her as we go further into the forest.

Finally reaching where I wanted. Lucy and Natsu helped once again. This is the spot where she gave me my second chance.

The blankets for our picnic have been set up. There are pillows as well. Just like our first date.

I see recognition light up in her eyes. I smile at her as I gaze into her beautiful blue eyes. Then I watch intently as she bites her bottom lip. Then I gently cup her face as I kiss her.

Sparks light up my body. I slowly pull away savoring the taste of her lips. I help her seat as we eat the dinner that was prepared with her favorite food.

"Juvia" I sigh as I get down on one knee. Her face shows shock as I pull out a ring.
"Juvia lockser I know that we didn't have the easiest start to this relationship, and lord knows I didn't deserve you, but for some reason you gave me a chance to prove that I do deserve you. You are the light of my life. I thought that I could never have love until you came a long and proved me wrong.  I want to spend the rest of my life waking up with you, kissing you, do everything with you. So will you marry me?" I ask

The band had a stone on it that matches Juvia's eyes perfectly. The band is silver. I've been carrying it  in my pocket waiting for the perfect time to purpose.

She starts crying as she says "Yes!" I kiss her hard. "I'm glad I didn't give up on you?" She says while looking at me with love in her eyes.
