A Swimmer's Tail (Connor Franta)

Chapter 2

**woo yay first update!! I hope you guys like it considering I'm writing it last minute. But anyways I hope you enjoy and rates would be nice, so would shares!!**

**Connor's pov**

Marilyn and I had been talking for a good while, just getting to know each other. I now knew that she wanted to be a marine biologist and her favorite sea animals are starfish. She loves swimming, singing, reading, writing and running. She also has a unique collection of interesting things she finds when she runs on the beach. We've gone running together a few times because she doesn't live that far away from my dorms and so far we've found a very big fork, a message in a bottle from 1973, and a broken locket with a picture of a couple inside. We spent a lot of time together but I still couldn't figure out what made me so interested in her. She carries her journal with her everywhere and she writes about everything that happens. She has a lot about me in there because of all the things we've been doing together. I love being around her, it's like she just draws me in. We talk almost everyday and she's one of the closest friends I have now. She doesn't have any sisters but she does have a brother, he's only 7 months old but she says he looks just like her, his name is Darren. I haven't met any of her family besides her mom, a very tall brunette with eyes greener than anything I've ever seen. I think she gets the blonde an the eyes from her dad but I've never seen him. She likes to take walks with me and just talk. She says she likes getting to know all her friends so well that she could tell their stories for them. I think it's a nice quality to have and it always gives us things to talk about.

**Marilyn's pov**

Connor and I have gotten really close. I like asking him questions because he always has interesting answers. He makes videos for YouTube, I've watched a few and he's good at them. He likes when we take runs together because of the cool things we find. I really don't know why he wants to know so much about me. He always wants to hangout with me when he has the time, I don't mind it and I have a great time with him, I just don't get why he wants to be around me so much. I usually don't like being around people for long but I don't mind it when I'm with him. He looks at my eyes a lot, many people do but the way he looks at them makes him look like a 5 year old in a candy store with all the candy in the world in front of him. He apologizes when I catch him doing it but I honestly don't mind because it amuses me, I always note how many times I've caught him in my journal when I'm with him. I've noticed lately that he's in my journal entries almost everyday, even when I'm not with him. I don't know why but I think I like him a little. It's nothing but a harmless crush for now. I wonder if he has any feelings for me? It would be nice to have someone as nice as he is by my side all the time. I haven't had a boyfriends in the last 3 years and the last one was only using me for attention, it didn't last long. Connor wouldn't be that way, he seems like the type of guy who would always hold your hand and kiss your cheek. He's such a sweetheart, especially around kids, he always smiles and waves and plays with them. He really is an amazing guy, I hope he doesn't turn out like all the other have, and I hope daddy likes him.
