Her knight

Ranveer sat over his car bonnet with eyes closed , parked in the side of an abandoned forest road in the dark night , trying to shut the world out and stop himself from feeling the pain in his heart , when he heard a painful whimper , he ignored it to be his imagination , but he heard it again it was faint , he opened his eyes immediately jumped of his car looking around but he could not find the source so he walked further into the forest pulling out his mobile for torch , he heard it again this time closer , as wandered his mobile about something shimmering caught his eye he walked towards the direction to object only to find a knife with blood , a few yards away from the knife was a person lying down on the muddy floor on closer inspection , it was a girl there was blood from her left flank someone must have tried to kill her, he swiftly bent down placing his hand over her pulse , it was faint but there , he quickly carried her in bridal style to his car half running , he lay her gentle on his back seat before he sat down a sped up to the hospital .

The doctors and nurse sped her in strecher towards the ICU , he was stopped from following her further . Standing before the operation theater flooded his mind with memories that he was trying forget over the years . He closed his eyes and shook his head there was more important matters at task right now .
" sir " a voice called out , Ranveer opened his eyes looking at the nurse " yes ? " " is the lady alright " his voice was laced with concern , " sir we cannot say anything right now , there is so much blood loss , we are trying to find a right blood donor , are you an o+ sir " , " yes " he quickly replied ,
" I can donate for her " , he followed her .

After 2 hours ,

Ranveer wiped beads of sweat that had formed on his forehead , he sat on the hospital chair near the operation theater waiting for someone to walk out with her whereabouts, it was late night , but he still didn't want to leave the girl to her own fate , last twenty minutes ago they had informed him that she was in a very crucial stage , may assurance to save her was less .

" how is she doctor? "
" she is out of danger but induced to coma so that her body can heal better  " Ranveer let out breath he didn't know he was holding , " we can hope she gets better soon , she is fighter I could say that " the surgeon smiled . " we'll have her in observation for a few days till her body vitals comes to normal "
" put her in best care doctor the bills will be paid how much ever it costs"
" that will be taken care of sir "
" and I want see her "
" I'll ask a nurse to escort you "
Ranveer just nodded his head and walked out.

He could clearly see her face now , the blood and dirt cleaned up, he stepped closer to her , there were too many medical instruments connected to her fragile small frame , she was young with raven black hair and pale skin more pale due to the blood loss , he couldn't help himself from running his knuckles caressing her cheek , it felt like silk so smooth and soft , her innocent face spread an unknown warmth in him. He took back his hand , She stirs his emotions that he had buried within him for years , he cannot afford to be a weakling again , he was hurt enough to try to mend heart again , he stepped out of the room and called his PA and asked her to arrange a meeting with his private investigator .

Ranveer entered the hospital building and walked straight the room the doctors had shifted , its been three days since , but she was yet to be awake , he had come every night after his tiring day at office to look after , he felt like he could rather walk into an hospital room rather than his empty house , when he was in a meeting with a client that evening , one of his guards that he had assigned to protect her room had informed him that she was finally awake and the doctors are testing her , he quickly wind up and asked his PA to reschedule his meetings and sped to the hospital.
