When is the right time to claim compensation? I think as a nation we tend to complain too much. I can understand complaining about the weather and other things but seriously complaining and demanding money?.
A lot of people pretend and claim money for their own ends.
For example I watched a real life documentary about a man who stole jewels from a jewel shop. It was a 11,000 pound watch I believe and guess what?. He reported it missing.
When the people who deal with these claims looked into it they gave him the money for it but wait for it he repeats the same scam all over again.
But eventually the claims department were not fooled and put a stop to it and eventually realising he had been rumbled he stopped ringing.
Another time I read in the papers about a man in prison who portended to slip over water and he too complained for compensation for his injuries but when they investigated they found no water and they checked the cctv and it was obvious that it was put on and faked.
His mate gave him the thumbs up when to do it because the wardens were distracted.
