Andy's POV

I checked my cell phone and had 3 text messages from Anne and 10 missed calls from Jacob. "Accept or Decline" I pressed decline all. I cried for awhile and then I thought of Drew. I thought of us hanging out together. I had so much fun with him and he was sweeter than Jacob. "Honey?" My mom knocked on the door.

"Come in." I say. She took a look at me and hugged me.

"Honey, what's wrong?" she asked.

"Jacob and I are over." I say and cried.

"I never liked him, he always treated you horribly." Mom said and hugged me.

"He cheated on me with Anne." I say.

"You're best buddy in the entire world?" I nod my head and cried even harder.

"It's okay sweetie, I had that happen to me all the time." She says and leaves the room. Well, thanks for talking to me (note the sarcasm.)

The next day i felt a bit better. I got dressed and waited for Drew. I checked the time and it was still early! Great,I'm getting too excited

Suddenly, the doorbell rung and saw Drew at the door. "Hey there kid." he said and hugged me. Please don't let me go! Unfortunately, he let me go.

"Let's get going." I say we drove in his car and we passed Anne and Jacob.

"Forget about them, you have me." He says and I blushed like crazy. Ah, I'm making it that obvious!

We arrived at school and he walked me to my locker. I kissed his cheek. I saw him blush and I opened my locker. "Hey, aren't you suppose to be mentoring that new kid?" Drew asked me. I slammed my locker shut and ran out to the front office.

Mrs. Saunders greeted me with a smile and told me to sit and wait. The door opened and in came a boy with brown hair and green eyes. His was tall and slim. He looked nervous. There were two other people behind him who I'm guessing is his parents. They look like jerks. His mother, I'm assuming, is talking into her Bluetooth and the father is doing the same. The family made their way to Mrs. Saunders and she pointed to me. That's my cue to get up.

I stood in front of the boy and have him a smile. "I'm Andrew but you call me Andy." I tell him.

"My name is Sam." he says shyly.

"Well Sam, you just made a new friend. Don't worry, I won't bite." I grin and be let out a soft chuckle. I have tiger him to open up to people and we will not leave until he builds up his confidence.

Sam's parents signed some papers and left the school. They didn't even say goodbye to him! I glanced a Sam and he sighed. "I want you to meet some- is that skittles in your hand?"

"I guess so."

"Can I please have some?" I ask him and used my puppy dog eyes.

"Alright." he says and I jumped up and down, squealing. My girly side had shown off. "Here you go." he handed me the skittles and I grabbed his arm with my free hand and dragged him off to Drew's locker.

I has Sam tap Drew on his shoulder and he turned around. I threw my skittles at him and yelled, "TASTE THE RAINBOW!" I watched the skittles fall onto the floor and felt Drew's glare. "You had it coming."

"That's not nice Andy." he says with an evil glint in his eyes. I hid behind Sam and Drake chuckled. "Who are you, may I ask?"

"S-Sam."
