Chapter 2

I was actually half asleep typing this :/

Picture of Drew :) I tried to find a picture of him wearing a shirt... But he's actually a model in real life and well... He mostly shirtless :P yummy.

Drew walked to his locker and grabbed his stuff. I skated over to him. "Hey, where are you going?" I ask. We just got here. He's the reason I actually came to this place.

"I have to go." He says. I put my hand on his shoulder. This boy isn't going anywhere! Not on my watch.

"Drew, please don't go. It wouldn't be the same without you." I tell him using my puppy dog eyes. Nobody can resist them. Not even the ice cream man. Yeah, I know him. What are you going to do about it? Nothing. That's what I thought.

"Ok, but I don't want to hang around Anne," He thought for a moment. "I want you to skate with Me." he says with a smile. He never asked me to skate with him before. My heart is jumping from joy!

Wait. I have a boyfriend. "I can't. I have a boyfriend to attend to." I say. A frown came upon his face. Aw, don't frown. He frowns, I frown. It's a lose-lose game. "Maybe next time?" I mostly asked myself trying not to be mean. I skated over to Jacob. He smiled. That boy is always smiling.

"Hey, I see Drew is staying." Jacob says. I nod my head. I'm glad he isn't leaving. I would've left with him. "Well lets skate." He says and pulls me onto the floor. The song Dynamite came on. "I love this song." I hear Jacob yell over the music. The next thing you know he skates away. I don't follow him, he's really fast.

"Some boyfriend he is." A voice said behind me. Drew.

"He wanted to skate around for a little bit." I say not so sure of myself.

"If you say so." He says and we ended up skating together. We raced each other and he ended up winning. We skated about three laps until I took a break. I saw Anne talking to some guy and laughing but Drew didn't notice. That's good, I guess?

I made my way to the arcade area and pulled out a dollar bill and inserted it in the slot. I will get you big Giraffe! It's been two weeks and I still can't get that damn Giraffe. It's like he wants to stay in that box.

I feel like Squidward right now. I just spent all my money on the crane machine. I made my way over to Drew and he handed me ten dollars. I skipped away and traded the ten for change and tried again and again and again. I tried until I had no more money left.

"Loser. Better luck next time." the crane says and I groan. Why must you hate me all mighty one? I'm trying to save you! Stupid game.

Drew put a dollar in and in seconds, he walked over to me and handed me the Giraffe. Part of me wanted to kiss him and the other half wanted me to slap him for winning the giraffe. But I couldn't do either of those things so I just gave him a hug. My heart skipped beats and I pulled away.

The night went by fast and the next thing you know all four of us are at McDonald's. Drew and Jacob order Big Mac's. Anne and I ordered the 20 nuggets meal. Drew and Anne ignored each other the whole time which scared me. "So, are you ready for Sunday?" Jacob asked us, filling in the silence. Good boy.

"What's happening on Sunday?" Anne asked. Is she really serious? She's the whole reason why we go on Sundays!

"We're going bowling! We always go bowling on Sunday's!" Drew answered. Anne quickly said "no." I guess she isn't over the break up.

"Well, I guess it's just the three of us." Jacob says grinning at Drew's outburst.

Its Sunday night and I'm not in a mood to go bowling but my best friend dumped his girlfriend and is stuck with my boyfriend. They arrived at my house at the same time. "Are you ready?" I ask. In Unison they said "yes."

We bought our own shoes and picked our usual lane. "I'm totally going to win." I say and made a strike. The boys mostly got pars and I ended up winning.

"Cheater." Jacob said and kissed me. Drew looked away. I don't like kissing in front of Drew because he makes a huge fuss every time I kiss Jacob, I think hes jealous. He looks cute when he's jealous. His cheeks flare puff.

"Who's taking me home?" I ask.

"Me." Drew says and I watch Jacob leave.

Once we got in the car, I turned on the radio. "I don't like him." Drew says.

"Why? I liked your girlfriend what's wrong with my boyfriend?" I ask.

"He's just using you." Drew says. I don't believe what I'm hearing. Jacob would never use me! He's a sweet guy. He could never do that to me.

"You're just jealous that I'm happy." I say gritting my teeth. Drew looked down. I instantly felt bad and it got really quiet.

"I should just take you home." He finally says and we pulled into my driveway.

This might be our second argument in our entire friendship. The only argument we had was who stole who's cookie back in freshman year. "I'll see you tomorrow?" I ask getting out of his car. Drew nods his head and speeds away. No goodbye?

I walk into the house to be greeted by my parents.

"Hello son." my father says and walked down to the study. I love you too dad! Oh, I guess he didn't hear me. My mom pinched my cheeks and told me to take a bath.

After my bath, I called Anne to see how she's doing.

"Hey, I'm sort of busy right now.... can I call you later?" she asks shuffling through some things.

"Yeah, sure." I say and hang up. She must be with another guy or maybe with that guy from the skating place. It took her no time to move on. She's happy, Jacob's happy, I'm happy and Drew is sad. I hate seeing my friends sad. I don't like seeing Drew sad. Tomorrow is going to be tough. I'll just have to make everything better.

I lied on my bed and closed my eyes and let the darkness take over me.
