Chapter 5

I was getting ready for the party. I really didn't want to go, I'm only going for Grayson's sake to be honest. I decided on a short black dress, with my converse. I straightened my hair and did my make up.
"Hey Sky" Beth said, walking in.
"Hey Beth, is Grayson here yet?" I asked putting away my make up.
"No" she said "um did you even ask Mom and Dad to go to this party"
"Um... No" "Skyler!!"
"They won't do anything if they don't I find out" I said, looking at Beth.
"I'm not making any promises"
"Bethany! C'mon, if they find out I'm dead" I said, looking at her.
"I won't say anything in one condition" she said. I rolled my eyes.
"Ugh, what is it?" I asked, annoyed.
"Can you talk to Ethan for me" she said, looking down. My eyes widened.
"Are you kidding me" I chuckled. I started walking to my window. Bethany followed.
"Pleeeeaase, we were talking at dinner the other night, and he's so sweet and funny"  I was looking out the window, seeing Ethan and Grayson walking to our house.
"Beth, I don't even know if he's dating anyone" I said, still looking out the window.
"That's why you talk to him and find out!" She said, standing behind me. We heard the door.
"Well you can find out yourself, he's here" I said, crabbing my purse and running downstairs. I opened the door, seeing only Grayson.
"Hey cutie, you look stunning" he said, looking at me up and down. I smiled. "Thanks"
Beth looked at me, confused. I rolled my eyes.
"Where's Ethan?" I asked, looking outside.
"Oh....he said he's just going to some friend's house" he said.
"He's not going to the party?" I asked, looking at Beth again. She looked at me, with a smile on her face. What.
"No, apparently he has other plans"
Beth just looked depressed, I laughed.
"Anyway back to you, cutie" he said, with a smirk. I blushed. "Ready?"
"Yup" I looked at Beth one more time. She mouthed I won't say anything. I smiled and closed the door behind me.

We arrived at the party. There was people everywhere, and it smelled like alcohol, great.
I looked around disgusted, I basically hated everyone here. Grayson looked excited, he looked at me and I faked a smile. He grabbed my hand and pulled me through the crowd. We found his friends and he started talking to them. One of them handed him a cup of beer, he took it. I couldn't take this, anymore.
"I'm gonna go get a drink" I said to Grayson.
"Alright"
I walked away, the only thing there was here was beer, and I didn't want any. I walked to the kitchen, where Morgan was with her friends. Great. I walked past them and I got a soda.
"Hey, look who decided to show up, did your boyfriend drag your ass here" Morgan said, drinking her beer.
"We're not dating" I said, not looking at her.
"He's not your boyfriend? ooh girl, you should've told me earlier" she giggled. Shit. My heart started racing. I turned around, she was whispering to her friends.
"Stay away from him" I said, glaring at her.
"Or else what, honey" she said getting closer. I didn't say anything.
"That's what I thought" she said "Now where's Dolan" ok that's it. I took the beer from her hand and poured it on her face, she screamed.
"Just stay away from him, bitch" I threw the cup, and walked away. I walked outside to the backyard, and of course there's more people. I just need some fresh air, but I still smell alcohol. Music was blasting through the entire house. Someone ran into me, I turned around. I thought it was Morgan, I don't need this. But it wasn't, it was this guy.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to ran into you" he said, backing up a little.
"It's ok, you're fine" I said, smiling. He smiled back.
"I'm Alex by the way"
"Yeah I've seen you around in the hallways" I said, smiled again.
"Skyler right?" He said.
"Yup" he seemed nice, I've noticed him before in school but never really talked to him.

Grayson's POV

I walking around and saw Sky outside talking to some guy. She was laughing. What the hell is she doing. I'm guessing their just friends, she better keep it that way. I started walking and realized I could barely move, I was drunk, great. I tried to walk again, but someone grabbed me from behind and pinned me to the wall. Morgan.
"What the hell are doing" I said, pushing her off. But she pressed her body against mine. I didn't go anything, why didn't do anything. She pulled on my shirt collar and pressed her lips on mine. She was short so I picked her up, not breaking the kiss. What the fuck am I doing, stop.
"EW DOLAN, GET A ROOM!!" I quickly pulled away and put Morgan down.
"You right, let's get a room" she said, reaching for my hand. I pulled away and backed up. I didn't say I didn't walked away. Skyler.

Skyler's POV

"EW DOLAN, GET A ROOM!" My heart dropped. I quickly went back in the house, leaving Alex behind. I was searching for Grayson, and then I saw Morgan. She noticed me and smirked then walked away. No. I pushed through people, with tears in my eyes. I saw Grayson on his phone.
"Grayson?" He looked up and smiled.
"Skyler, come on let's go" he said grabbing my hand, looking over my head. I pulled away.
"No Grayson wait...." I cried. He grabbed my hand again and opened the door. He pulled me out of the house.
"Grayson stop!" I said, pulling away from him grasp again.
"Come Sky, lets go home, I know you don't want to be here" he said
"Not until you tell why did I hear someone say that!" Tears were streaming down my cheeks. He looked down.
"Why! Why would you do that?!" I cried. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"Oh god" I whispered, putting my hand over my mouth.
"Look Sky, I didn't-" "You said you wanted us to be a thing!" He looked away.
"I thought we could be something" I whispered, looking down.
"Of course I want us to be a thing, I've always-" He started walking towards me, I backed away "no, no you don't Grayson, and you never did".
He looked at me with glassy eyes.
"Skyler of course I do" he reached for my hand again.
"Don't touch me" I said. He put his hand down.
People were watching now.
"Sky please don't make a scene" he said, getting closer. I didn't say anything, I looked away. Morgan was there, watching the entire thing. I was furious. I walked over to her. Grayson followed.
"I told you to stay away from him!"
"Well you thought-" I slapped her.
"No bitch I don't think, I know" Grayson grabbed my arm and pulled me away. Morgan was holding her cheek, in shock. She looked at Grayson, he looked away. He pulled to the car.
"Sky" Grayson started. "Just take me home, please" I said, getting in the car.
As soon as we got to the car, I got out of the car, slamming the car door, hard. He quickly got out and followed me to my door.
"Sky wait" he said. I turned around.
"Grayson please go home"
"No, listen-" "I'm not gonna stand here and listen to your lies Grayson!" I cried, looking away.
"Skyler please don't do this" he said. His voice was shaking. I nodded.
"No, I'm done" I opened the door and got in. He was just standing there, with tears in his eyes. I closed the door.
"I'm done"
