Could've Been Him

A/N: I don't know what it was, but that gif and imagining it was Soryu kinda broke my heart...

"Let go of me, Ota!" Eisuke demands as the artist keeps his tight grip on the CEO, dragging him to the elevator where Mamoru and Baba were holding Soryu in the elevator.

"You both need to go out sometime, okay? You've been moping around too much. Who knows, if we go out, we might just see Sakura outside!" Ota grins, pressing the buttons as the elevator began to descend.

Soryu and Eisuke stopped struggling once they were shoved into the limo, followed by the others who wore excited grins. They were hoping to see Sakura today, anywhere was fine.

"What are we supposed to do exactly?" Soryu asked, glaring at Baba and Ota, who were snickering silently.

"Don't worry about it, Sor." Baba chuckled, "You'll find out."

Baba had passed by the Busy Bean many times and had luckily spotted Sakura once entering it, and that's where they were going. It was his best bet.

The limo drove a few streets and such before stopping at a cozy, homey like cafe. Eisuke raised a brow at their choice and before he could utter a complaint, he was dragged off again. They entered the little cafe, taking a seat at one of the biggest tables there was.

"Explain to me how this would help us find Sakura." Eisuke sighed as Ota placed their orders.

"Just trust us, Boss. It'll be fine." Baba smiles, inhaling the sweet smell of coffee. "I hope so at least..."

Their orders came, handed out as the bidders all took a sip from their drink, Eisuke muttering complaints under his breath as he stirred the milk and sugar in his beverage. Although it seemed stupid, he still couldn't help but have a little hope to see his best friend here.

Jenna was actually helping with the search, getting her cousin Olivia to help her. But unknown to Jenna's new boyfriend, Eisuke, she had turned heads and was trying her best to cover the hacker.

The boys kept sharp eyes trained at the entrance, hoping someone would come through. Sakura.

"Calm down," Mamoru suddenly interrupts, sighing. "It's creepy when ya'll stare at the door like that, ya know."

Exhaling loudly, all the men look down, watching their drinks swish in their warm cups. The door constantly opened but no Sakura. At least, from what they noticed.

Kioshi's arm wrapped around her shoulders, Sakura enters their favorite place in town, Kio's workplace and their first meeting place.

"It's been a while since I've been here." Sakura laughs, leaning her head on Kioshi's shoulder. "Even though it's only been a week."

"I guess we come by too often, huh?" "You work here!" Sakura giggles, strolling up to the counter where the cashier greets Kioshi, the brunette greeting his coworker. They placed their orders, Sakura's favorite mocha and Kioshi's iced coffee.

They sat at their usual favorite table, which unfortunately, was right behind the bidders' table. As they walked towards the table, Sakura stiffened at the sight of her ex boyfriend and old friends. "Hey, you okay?" Kioshi asked with concern, noticing her change in attitude and position.

She took a quick glance at the table before nodding with a weak smile, "Y-Yeah..."

Although Kioshi was suspicious, he dropped the topic with a nod and a smile, kissing her forehead. Sakura sat at the table with her back to the bidders' table, making sure they didn't see her face. Swiping her hair to one side, Sakura unwittingly reveals the little birthmark on the back of her neck, one that Soryu's seen and memorized about her.
