3.The new school

After moving and putting things up and making sure we can have a stable home. Philip and I went to enroll me at my new school, Jacksonville high school. We had went to the school to see if I could get enrolled since it was the nicest school in the area even though it was a C grade school. The desk lady,what was her name? Oh I remember miss carp had said I had got lucky and was able to get enrolled and that day was the day I had meet him.

He was so cute, I remember looking up and seeing that smile he gave me when he saw me, with those white teeth and sparkling eyes. It felt like I was in a dream that was so easy to wake up from but I didn't want to.

"Hi, I'm Alex" he said with those perfect eyes and a smile so big

"Hi I'm Philip her dad" Philip said giving him a stare looking at him from bottom to top

"Hi sir, I just wanted to say hi to the new student " Alex says while he starts standing up straight.

"Hi nannika but some people call me Nani for short" I say while trying to act calm

He was the second boy I ever had a crush on. The first was my best friend before the move.

" I have a couple questions for you nanika" miss carp said while looking at me funny

" okay what is it" I said trying not to give an attitude

" do you have any tattoos or piercings "

"No 'mam" I said trying to act respectful
Miss carp had lost her husband that year and ever since had been, well let's say unstable.
"Okay we're good to go I'll see you on Monday" miss carp said with a smile that was so noticeable that it was fake.

That day me and Philip went out to eat at burger ally and it was a fun place to with all of the painting on the walls and how everyone could just throw any trash on the floor. The burger ally was a place to look like an ally but serve food there also.

"So kid how do you feel about starting school" Philip says while biting into the biggest juicy burger you could imaging

"Alright I guess I don't want to go to school again but it will do" I said while eating the curly grease that tasted like happiness

After the weekend I started at the new school and let me tell you the first day was horrible. Three girls already hated me for no reason and already I almost got in fight. After that happened it was only 2 class periods left and I could finally go home. As soon as I got in 6 period I saw Alex. When he turned around from talking to one of the girls that hated me he ran up to me and asked if everything okay since he heard already what had happen.

"Hey im fine just really pissed" I said while rolling my eyes and looking at Chris the girl who tried fighting me

"If you want we can skip this class I know a good place to hide" Alex told me while walking towards the door

"Sure but are you sure you want to skip" I said smiling walking towards the door also

"Please I always skip" Alex says

"okay then mr.badass. lead the way" I said
We both left the class and ran down to the basement since no one goes down there for anything. We ended up skipping the next period and just went home after words. The whole time we were there we just told jokes and that day we had became best friends.

After that we just became best friends and did almost everything together. He then moved a year later in the 11th grade. I have had a couple friends but not a lot. I was fine all alone but I did make another friend. His name was Rico and he was known for so many things but one was my best friend but one time it got out of hands with rumors. Everyone had said we hooked up one time and that I was pregnant but that was a rumor started by a pregnant girl so no one believed her really. I feel sorry for her still to this day for always spreading rumors for people wouldn't talk about her even though she 'added more to the fire' as our guidance counselor told all of us. I heard it turned out she had triplets but I don't really know she left three months before she was due.
