"Come on!" Misty grabbed her lover's hand, "We are gonna miss it." And practically dragged the young girl to the edge of her swamps.
"What are we–"
"Shhh... The critters are talkin'." Zoe pursed her lips into a thin line, waiting for the animal's to be done 'talking' to the swamp witch. "It's coming."
"What's coming?"
"The sunset." The shorter of the pair rolled her eyes.
"Well, duh Mist. It happens everyday." Misty shook her head, her wild, curly blonde hair swaying with her.
"No, this is special." Misty intertwined her fingers with the younger witch's own. "I'm not 'lone this time." Zoe felt tears well up in her eyes at the latter's words and leaned closer to her. As if on cue, the sun began to fall behind the scattered swamp trees. Causing beautiful patterns and hues to appear in the vast sky.
"You'll never be alone again, Misty." Zoe quietly promised.
