December- Daniel and Jai

It was December when they got together. They were staying in London and, being unused to the freezing temperatures, cuddling seemed like the right thing to do. Cuddling turned into kissing an slowly it started to happen more regularly.. On a daily basis even and then suddenly they were boyfriends... Just like that.

It was easy and they loved each other and that was all either of them needed.

Around February things started to go wrong. No one voiced it but tension was constant and there was a distance between the two boys that had never been there before. Jai worked hard to fix it but the more he persisted the further away Daniel drew from him. Until finally there was a great, gaping hole between them and neither boy knew how to close it.

By April they hardly spoke, they shared a cold, quick kiss in passing or muttered untruthful 'I Love You's' but that was it, the spark was gone. Neither of them wanted to acknowledge it though so they kept up the act...

June was when shit finally hit the fan. It was late on a Saturday night and the boys were back in Australia. Daniel got drunk. At two in the morning Jai answered his door to a swearing, slurring, Lebanese mess.

"Who the fuck... Is Ariana.." Daniel trailed off, eyes unfocused.

"She's a friend, we talk over twitter and stuff... How much have you had to drink?"

"Not enough... You cheating fucker.. No! Don't touch me, leave me alone!"

What followed is the sound of flesh on flesh as Daniel's fist connected with Jai's cheek and eye. Without so much as an apology, Daniel stumbled off into the night, leaving Jai shocked and hurt.

Two days later they had officially broken up, Jai had announced his plans to go visit Ariana overseas and nobody had managed to get him to confess as to how he had such nasty facial bruising and a black eye.

However, the two boys were asked why they broke up by a worried looking Beau, with Luke and James looking on curiously.

Sharing a secretive glance the two newly separated said in unison..

"We just don't know how to love each other like we did in December."

I've never written a breakup shot before, I hope it's alright. I know the endings a little wierd but I didn't want the boys to have all this angst and tension and awkwardness, I think this fit better. Hope you like it! Xoxo Heydon.
