Dipper's Pov
Mabel was shaking my arm and yelling at me to get up and get dressed.I fell out of bed and hit my head on the hardwood floor.I threw on yesterday's clothes and I followed her.The next thing I knew I was sitting in a booth at Greasy's Diner with my sister and Bill.I ordered a cup of coffee and While we waited on our orders Mabel tried to get a conversation going between us,but Bill and I kept giving death stares at each other from across the table.At least I think he was giving a death stare,it was hard to tell with that eye patch.
Mabel went to the ladies room,leaving us alone."Why do you keep looking at me like that?"asked Bill."I asked"What do mean?"I asked.
He gave me a dirty look,then said"FUCK OFF PINE TREE!!"I said "GO TO HELL!" With this he chuckled,then responded"Hell is a lovely place,I spent my summer there last year..I'd be glad to take you there sometime."Before I could say anything,Mabel came back,They linked arms and left.
The bill came and I paid.I was about to leave myself,when I noticed something sitting on the seat that he just left . I picked up,and to my surprise,it was a book.I honestly I didn't think Bill could read,I mean it must be pretty hard to read with an eye patch.I turned the book over,and my heart skipped a beat.It was identical to the one that I had possessed many years ago,but it had a number four on the front.He had it.WHY WOULD HE HAVE IT!!??!I left the diner and went home.I had some reading to do.
