Stars littered the purple sky as Bill crossed the California border. He did not know where he was going or where he would end up,he just knew that he had to leave Gravity Falls.

What the future held was unclear, and now for the first time in his lifespan,he felt remorse. He felt remorse for the deed he committed, and he did not enjoy this feeling at all.He started to feel irritable, and exhausted.Three hours of hitchhiking and not a single vehicle had stopped.

Headlights shone in the distance, and Bill stuck out one gloved hand trying to flag them down. The car whizzed by his ear without even stopping. He flipped them the bird and continued walking.

Half an hour later a car slowed to a stop. The window slowly rolled down, and a fammilar voice said"Need a ride?"Bill nodded, and sat in the passenger seat. The car started to roll along when the driver said"Where you headed?"
Bill said"Los Angeles."They sat in silence for a while,
When the driver said "Name's Luke. What's yours?"

"Bill." He mumbled. The rest of the ride was silent. When they entered Los Angeles city limits,Bill came to a dilemma. In order to get himself a place to stay for the night,he would need money.Which he had none. The drivers wallet was sitting on his dashboard, but this was a risky move.He turned his head,Luke was so focused on the road that he probably wasn't paying any attention to Bill.He decided to risk it.He grabbed the wallet quickly and shoved it in his jacket pocket. Finally she let him free, and he walked strait into the lobby of the nearest hotel and reserved a room for the night.
He ordered pancakes from room service, then he layed on the king sized bed and watched Star Wars.
When Darth Vader revealed his true identity to Luke Skywalker, Bill was fast asleep.
