(This chapter doesn't need a picture to describe how beautiful it is!)
Your POV
I was in Aphmau's house getting ready for the wedding. After me attempting to reason with myself that I didn't like Aaron(Even though we all know I do), I slipped on my dress, and put on my heels. After applying a little makeup, I looked in the mirror.
Sighing, I went downstairs, greeting Aphmau on the way, who had also gotten ready. Today was Donna and Logan's wedding, so the entire village was pitching in.
"Hey Y/N! Are you ready?" Aphmau asked me, jumping with excitement. Probably because of the wedding, and the fact that she finally got to see my face. Yes, this dress doesn't have a hood, so people get to see my face.
Woo-hoo. I simply nodded to her.
Only upside is, I'll have a... Date.
The words were dry in my mouth as we walked to the docks. It's not that I didn't enjoy seeing Aaron, it just, I'm not as familiar with these emotions as the others are. Is... Is that a good thing? I definitely don't know though. I've never felt love, or loved for that matter.
How could I? Everyone hates me because of what I do. Or did. I stole people's stuff, anything that was appealing and could get me a good amount of money. Like diamonds, coat of arms, weaponry, etc.. Know what I mean?
Me and Aphmau reached the docks, and saw that everybody was quietly chatting, waiting for the reception to start. I sat in a chair, hoping the wedding would get in with itself.
------------------------------------------
(What, thought I was going to go over all the sappy reception stuff?)
Everyone was laughing and dancing in the plaza, listening to the music. I couldn't find Aaron, who I would rather talk to than, all of these, really, really, giddy villagers.
Making sure no one was looking, I hopped on top of a house, watching the townsfolk party. I smiled. They looked so happy, something I haven't felt unless it was on the topic of getting revenge.
"Why aren't you at the party?" I turned around, my grin widening a little.
"Dunno, they definitely don't need me to have fun," I answered, looking back at them.
"Hey Y/N? I need to ask you something..." Aaron said, scratching his neck.
"Yes?" I wondered, switching my gaze back to him. He pulled me towards him, our faces nearly touching.
"Well, I think I can show you instead..." he whispered, kissing me. I kissed back, and we pulled back after a minute, due to a thing called oxygen.
"I love you too." Was all I replied, before kissing him again, wanting the moment to last forever.
