Aaron's POV
I jumped on a rooftop, searching for Y/N. After jumping from house to house, I saw a humanly figure asleep in the alleyway below. I chuckled. Is this really what Y/N had in mind, when she said she needed a place to stay? I hopped down scooping her up in my arms. The stars twinkled as I walked to my camp, Y/N in arms. I put lay her on the bed, and put her sword on the ground next to her. I layed myself down on the cold earth, waiting for morning.

Your POV
I woke up on an unusually soft bed, taking a look at my surroundings. I was at a small camp, next to the sea. I heard a soft snoring sound, and upon seeing Aaron, I smiled. Judging by the position of the sun and shadows, I assumed it was early morning. I couldn't help but gaze over the man, almost blushing when I saw he was shirtless.
Rule #1 of a thief:
Do NOT fall in love, you will only scrape your knees with no one to catch you.
I sighed deeply. This is what I was taught growing up with no family. Which is where I learned;
Rule #2 of a thief:
There is NO time for fun and games.
I'll admit, life is unfair, but that's how it has always been, and how it always will be. Taking my sword, I walked over to the town. Seeing the guards out, I walked in. Dante and Laurance tensed, seeing me with my blade out.
I was about to sheathe it, when I heard a man's cackle from the forest. More like a group's.
Rule #3 of a thief:
Know your enemy.
Judging by the voices, the way the leaves crumbled under their boots, it sounded like the Gorgon Bounty Gang. These guys have been hunting me for three years, and they were bad news. I turned around.
"Wow, looks like you finally found me." I joked, going in a defensive position. The leader took a step towards me and, I bared my teeth.
"We are here to cause no harm, just come with us and you will not be harmed." Gray told me.
"Not a chance, you're only after money. Plus, there's no point in taking me captive, only for me to escape." I snapped.
"Maybe, but..." Gray went.
"But what, idiot?" I asked angrily.
"Do you want your friends to get hurt?" he questioned smirking.
"You know quite well that I don't make friends G!" I yelled at him.
Rule #4 of a thief:
Don't ever make friends, they are only a dead weight.
"Are you so sure about that?" he smirked. Gesturing to his second in command, Dorian, he walked up to me, throwing a brutally injured Aaron to the ground. My expression changed to a shocked one that they could not see. Putting a dagger to his neck, Gray asked me,"So now, will you come with us?"
