George wasn't really listening. He was too distracted by Starkey's voice and his eyes, oh, his blue eyes. The way whenever he blinks the eyelashes would barely touch the top of his cheek.

"Harrison."

He jolted out of his gaze. "H-Huh?"

"Hey, are you even listening?" Starkey whined, lips turning down into a cute pout.

George flushed, pink spreading across his cheekbones. He gave Starkey an embarrased grin.

"Something..." He licked his dry lips, smirking a bit when Starkey's blue eyes landed on his mouth when he did so. "About sex?"

Starkey snorted. It was his turn to blush.

Jesus. I just mentioned the S word and he blushes. George grinned. So adorable.

"Close enough." He sighed, lips still curled down in a pout. "Everything is sex to you, Harrison."

"It's George."

"Hmm?" Starkey met his eyes, blinking twice. "Pardon?"

"It's George, you deaf bastard." He snickers, making Starkey blush even more. "I guess I can't keep calling you Starkey now, can I?" He teased.

"Ringo. I prefer that over Richard, though." Starkey--- Ringo--- added quickly.

His name sounded familiar.

"Fine." George shrugged. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket.

Pattie: where the fu are you?? i thought we had plans tonight???

"Fuck." George cursed, standing up abruptly.

Ringo cocked his head. "What's wrong George?"

George liked the way he pronounced his name. It sounded more of a JOJ than a George.

"Listen... My, erm, girlfriend?" It sounded weird coming out of his mouth. "Y-Yeah, my girlfriend had plans tonight."

Ringo furrowed his eyebrows, his pout turning into a fully formed frown.

"You have a girlfriend? I-I mean..." He quickly looked away. "It's your p-private life anyways..."

"It's complicated." George admitted. "It isn't really a serious relationship."

"O-Oh." Ringo mumbled, giving him a crooked smile. "So, uh, tomorrow?" He asked, hope in his eyes.

George smiled. "Sure."

"Ritchie?" Maureen calls out, swinging the door a bit more open this time. "Ritchie are you awake?"

He groans, sitting up. Ringo runs a hand through his disheveled hair, trying to tame it.

"I am now, Mo." He squints, trying to adjust to the bright light pouring from the door. "What's wrong?"

"I have a secret." She mumbles, before shutting the door quietly with her foot. "Do you promise not to tell?"

Ringo hums yes, and Maureen climbs up his bed. He scoots of a bit for her.

"I have a crush." She admitted, eyes sad and teary.

Ringo frowns, running his fingers through her hair in a comforting fashion. She calmed down but only a bit.

Maureen shooks her head. "I-I like Cynthia..." She whimpered. "Mum will kill me!"

"It's just a crush," Ringo reassured his step-sister with a smile. "You can't help it---"

"But it's wrong!" She cried, balling the sheets in little fists. "I shouldn't like girls! I-It's..." Ringo watched as little tears slid down her cheeks. She quickly wiped them away.

"It's wrong." She finished.

That hit him.

"It's only love." He pulled her into a hug. He kissed the top of her head.

"Y-You won't tell mum?" She asked in a soft voice.

"It'll be our secret. Does Cynthia know?"

She bit her lip. A while passed then she nodded slowly.

"She says she likes me, too."

Ringo smiled. "Well that's good. You go girl!" He teased.

Maureen laughed, traces of worrying about their religious mother fading away.

It's only love, anyways. Ringo thought.

"Hey Ringo."

He looked up at him. George's hair was waxed up, making his hair shiny. Ringo stifled a laugh.

George caught it. His thick eyebrows knitted together in confusion.

"What is it?"

Ringo giggled. "Nothing."

"Good day class." Ms. Ono said as she strode across the room. "We'll be pairing up for a project. It's both Biology and Arts so you better do good at it. Also, like it or not, your seatmate will be your partner."

A chorus of groans erupted from the class. Ms. Ono rolled her eyes at them.

A hand shot up in the air.

"Yes, Ms. Asher?"

"What's the project?" She asked, noisily chewing on her gum.

"You're going to draw the human body." She gave the class a cat-like smile. "Nude. Also, label the parts."

Ringo gulped. George shot him a grin. He dumped his bag down on the floor and sat down, making the chair squeak loudly.

"This is going to be good." The teddy boy smirked at him. Ringo felt his cheeks grow warm.
