Prologue

"Hello, nice to meet you, I'm Narrah," Hecate lied, sitting next to Ares. Obviously, she didn't realize it's him. Ares, who's all drunk from his thousandth beer lied, "Nice to meet you beautiful." he sluured. "I'm Keith. "

It was a dark bar in the middle of the night. It's obvious that neither of them recognized each other. "Well Keith, it's a pleasant suprise to see you here." Hecate said, touching his arm.

Ares, who was obsessed with sexy women (who isn't?), wrapped his arm around her. "Well why don't we hit somewhere else, like a love hotel, " he whispered. Hecate, who was pretty drunk herself, agreed and left with him to a love hotel nearby.

The next morning, Hecate let out a shriek. Ares shot out of bed, ready in action, nude. "What is it Narrah, I'll-" The moment he looked at her, he jumped back.

"What are you doing here! Where's Narrah!" he shouted.

"That's my line!" She said in a rage. Suddenly, the memory of last night flooded back to them.

"Ugh, this is can't be real. I must be dreaming!" Ares groaned. Hecate threw a box of condemns at his head.

"There! Are you awake yet?! We're Gods! We're not suppose to have anymore children with each other! You know that better than I do!" she shouted, throwing more boxes of condemns at him.
"Stop that!" he yelled.

She didn't listen to him, instead, she conjured up more condemn boxes above him, dropping them like rain. Ares popped out his sheild and hovered it above him. "I said stop!"

She was so pissed, this time, she conjured a statue of herself and dropped it above him. He popped out his sword and sliced it into sand."ENOUGH! This won't help at all!"

She ignored him and sent three laelap in the middle of the room. Ares, whom was a bit annoyed, dropped his sword and sheild. "Are you kidding me? We're just fighting so intensly and you send a freaking dog?"

She didn't even gave his a glance. She, instead, shouted, "Sick 'em!"

The laelaps attacked Ares, running up for him. He regretted dropping down his shield because next thing he knew, the dogs bit him, almost everywhere. this was pretty mush a bad situation, considering he's nude. When he was finally able to get his sword, he slayed the three dog and jumped on Hecate, his sword egding her neck. "I said enough. " he said glaring at her.

She wanted to throw a brick at him, but she couldn't. Not in this situation she was in. She blew a sigh. "At least you used a condon last night, right?"

Ares stayed in silence.

"Right?" she repeated in a tone that needs to be replied.

"Well..." his voice trailed off.

She was now in the maximum level of enraged. "YOU DISGUSTING, BASTARD! YOU IDIOT! MANIAC! ASSHOLE! THANKS TO YOU, I'M DONE FOR!" she shouted, tears flowing down her cheeks.

Ares saw her tears and begun reaction quickly. "Uh... don't worry Narr- I mean Hecate. We'll just have to hide this baby for a while, and sent it away to an orphanage."

She shot a glare at him. "You think it's that simple? You practically got us punished by Zeus!" They sat for a moment, now in their clothes, thinking of a way to keep it a secret after Hecate calmed.

During the months, they actually acted like a real family. Ares got a job like a real father, while Hecate cooked like a housewife. Though since she's a terrible cook, she sent elves to cook for them while she cleaned. They had fights, but only minor ones. Without knowing it, they actually wanted to keep the baby themselves.

Nine Months Later

"She's finally born, huh?" Ares said with a sigh. Hecate nodded, she had a small sad expression.
"I don't want to give her away anymore. Maybe we should keep her." she said softly.

Ares shook his head. "No, even if we want to, we can't keep her. Zeus will just kill her with his lightning bolt."
Hecate tears flowed non-stop. "But can we at least keep in touch with her when she turns fifteen? I want her to know the truth, at least to let her know she's loved."

Ares gave a gentle smile. "Of course, but be careful. Zeus might find out." She nodded and called a nurse.

"Yes ma'am?"

She choked on those words. Ares came in. "We would like to place our child in the orpahnage." He almost choked on the word orphanage, but caught himself before making a mistake.

The nurse was suprised and asked, "Are you sure? Please think this over-"

"We've decided already, now take her away!" Hecate yelled. She knew if she had second thought, she'd be convinced to keep her.

"Send Remi away, now." she said. Ares was staring off in the distance, but his face showed that he was troubled by the idea of second thoughts too. The nurse nodded and carried Remi away. Hecate cried in Ares arms as the nurse carried the baby away.

Ares was holding back tears, trying to comfort her. When she was discharged from the hospital, she and Ares said their last good-byes as a couple and parted each other, forgetting what the had together during the times Remi was with them.
