No matter our age, skill, or level of experience, every writer struggles to keep their characters alive and their storyline from dying off.
No writer can deny that they have their share of unfinished drafts, collecting dust in their computer hard-drive, never to be revised again. Our once brilliant ideas seem to blow away at the slightest discouragement, like the seeds on a dandelion in a summer breeze. Once these ideas leave us, rarely do we bother to look for them. We conclude that it would be easier to give up; to start something new.
