Picture Perfect Family

Today was a special day. It's Picture day! Meliodas thought that him, Hawk and Meldy could take a proper family picture since they had none in the beginning. It was a lovely day, nothing to do, no customers coming in so why not take the oppurtunity and snap a photo?

Meliodas was feeling like a perfectionist. Everything must go according to plan. He made Meldy wear formal clothing. "Papa....does it suit me?" Meliodas turned around to see Meldy wearing all pink. She looks like those lollita girls with the lace. The upper was long sleeved with white frills, two black buttons on her chest area, and a black bow tie.On her skirt were an alternate design of black with white dots, in between is pink layer then a white layer with black dots and another pink layer added. Meldy's hair the same..in addition to that, Meliodas made her wear a small hat..really small hat..like the ones in the medievel times.
"Ohhh! You look cute in that Meldy." Meliodas approved of her attire. He may be a perv..but he will not let his daughter wear such revealing clothing.
"Really Papa?" Meldy's eyes sparkled. The dress did suit her very much.
"Oi! Check out my attire." Hawk came into view. All he wore was just a red bow tie wrapped around his neck.
"ohhh!! Hawk-chan, you look fancy." Though Hawk was only wearing a bow tie, Meldy still complimented about it.
"Not only that, have a closer look..do I look different?" Meldy took a good look at hawk..she only realized just now how he was shining under the sun.
"You're...shining..."
"I added a little oil for some extra shine." Hawk did a 360 turn showing off his whole body sparkling.

"Meldy..hawk..get ready okay? I'll be right back. I need to change." Meliodas gestured Meldy to sit down on that large throne size chair beside a tree. It was red and gold mixed together. Meliodas went all out for this picture. Fifteen minutes later, Meliodas returned fully clothed in his formal attire.
"So how do I look?" Meldy and Hawk turned to see Meliodas wearing a black tuxedo and a red neck tie.
"Papa..you look like a gentlemen." Meldy fangirled at how goodlooking Meliodas really looks. Hearts were forming in her eyes.
"Arigatou Meldy...Hawk...what do you think?"
"Well you do look the gentlemen part......but don't act like one." Yes, Hawk was talking about Meliodas' perverted side.
"You're being mean." Meliodas said in his Chibi face. "Anyways, the painter will be here in a moment now, so we better practice our pose."

In this era, the Camera hasn't been invented yet. So to capture the moment, Meliodas hired an artist to paint his family. Minutes passed by, everyone had practiced their positions. Meldy sits on the throne with legs crossed, Meliodas stands right next to her with his arm leaning against the back of the head rest of the chair and Hawk standing on the other side. The young painter had arrived. He looked to be one of those people who are very strict since he was well attired and the glasses gave the first impression that he means business.

"Hello family..I'm Adam, your painting artist for this occasion. Now if we want this to be done quickly, I sugges tno sudden movements. I'll paint as fast as I can so you can move freely in no time because you have to stay very still in this pciture. Any movements will destroy the painting's image. So chop chop....everyone get into position." Adam was serious.
"He sure is bossy." Hawk made a comment. He whispered that to Meldy which she too agreed.

For the past 30 minutes, the gang stay perfectly still. It was very tempting to move aorund but they resisted it. Adam had only drawed the outline of everyone and the background. There was no color being added. "Okay..it's done." Says Adam. Hawk sighed in relief. He was really wanting to go pee now.
"Finally! I need to pee." Hawk was about to leave when Adam stopped him.
"Hold on there a minute. I only painted your outline and nothing else." Adam turned the canvas to show everyone their black and white version.
"why isn't there any colors?" Meliodas questioned.
"I'm gonna add them now so be still." Adam was rumaggaging through his back. He seems to be looking for something.
"This is taking forever..I really need to pee." Hawk was holding back the bladder.
"ahhh..here it is..." Adam pulled out a large black box with a circle on the middle. In additon to that, a small tube was attached at the ends..it was..glowing?

"uhh...Mr. Adam, what is that?" Meldy questioned.
"this here little lady is a revolutionary product called a camera." Adam finished setting up the remaining feautres.
"camera?" Meldy has no idea what that is.
"A camera is a machine that captures footage of events like this one. But this is still an amateur contraption. It's powered by magic. One click of this and the outlined sketched I made will imitate your pose and the background. Get the point?" Adam said in a snap. Like he really wants to get this over with. They all nodded their heads. "one more note, it uses alot of power so I can only take this picture once. No redo. So stay still."

"I..I..I can't hold it much longer." Hawk ran around the area to contain his leak.
"Hawk-chan...just a little more time." Meldy comforted.
"Oi pig! Stop moving around. This camera is counting down." Adam had already clicked the capture botton. There was a ringing sound coming from the camera.

"10....."

"Hawk..contain it..just 9 more seconds." Meliodas ordered. Hawk was staying still but shaking.

"9.....

8.....

7".....

All of a sudden, Meldy said "Papa.....I have an itch on my nose." Meldy is trying her best not to sneeze.

"6....."

"Meldy..just 5 more seconds." Meliodas gripped her hand.

"5.....

4....."

Hawk couldn't take it anymore. He jumped to runaway but meliodas was quick. He pulled Hawk by the tail. Meliodas was dragged along so Meldy pulled them back. At the last second, Meldy sneezed so hard that she fell to the side.

From the background, the countdown had stopped. Click goes the camera. The flash of light appeared. The light reflected itself against the canvas. What once was a black and white outline of the three was filled with motion and color.

"well how does it look?" Meliodas questioned. Hawk had already ran away. Adam just face palmed at the picture. This was one picture that he wish he never captured. To him it was horrible. But to Meldy and Meliodas' eyes, it was beautiful.

That night, Mleiodas sealed the portrait in a picture frame with glass so that the picture won't be erased. Meliodas smiled at the epic failed 'formal' family picture he was suppose to have.

Imagine Meldy fallling from her chair to the right, her nose scrunched up as she sneezed... with Meliodas falling along with her while pulling strongly on Hawk's tail and Hawk motioning to runaway like a scaredy cat. It wasn't perfect in picture but it was perfect in his eyes.

This was indeed a picture perfect family for him.
