Chapter 6

Jake leaped tree from tree, avoiding the Mazukai soldiers on ground. Jake said quietly, "I have to avoid them, or else I'm dead." Jake keeps leaping tree to tree, towards the city gates heading to the forest. "If I could just get through gates, I will have my escape." Jake said. He keeps leaping, but stops. He sees two Mazukai soldiers near the gate. "They're----" "Going somewhere, street rat?" Jake turns around and sees Vegeta behind him, Vegeta said, "Looks like I did easy work here, you'll come with me rather you like it or not." Jake said, "I won't go anywhere with you."

[Jake kicked Vegeta away from him. Vegeta falls from the tree to the ground.]

Vegeta said, "Why you little brat! How dare you kick me?!" Jake starts to leap to the gate and into the forest. Vegeta said, "Soldiers!!!! Don't let that brat escape from the city!!!!!" Napa runs towards Vegeta, he said, "Well, I see you found him, but let him escape. How are you going to explain to dad about this?" Vegeta said, "It's not fault!!! The brat threw me off guard, when the old man said he taught the brat of him moves, he wasn't kidding about it. We'll definitely need to train ourselves." Napa said, "A little training won't hurt much."

Jake leaped into a tree in the forest, he said, "That was close, I better look around my surroundings first before I move."

[Jake looks around to see if anyone was following him. His sees the Mazukai soldiers on the ground look for him.]

Jake said, "I better stay in the trees, they wouldn't expect me to be in the trees." Jake leaped into another tree, but the branch starts to move. The Mazukai soldiers looks and sees the branch moving but don't see Jake. One said, "There's something in trees." The other said, "Could be an animal. Keep moving."

[The two soldiers moved on and Jake holding still as he can saw them leave. Jake poke his head from the leaves.]

Jake said, "Looks like the coast is clear. I better get moving." Jake started leaping tree to tree. As he was leaping, Jake saw a little village in the forest, he stops to take a look. He sees men, sitting on the ground with their hands together. Jake said, "What are they doing?"

[Jake sees the two Mazukai soldiers enter the village and disturb the men. They talk to each other, the soldiers leave.]

Jake waits for the soldiers to pass, when they pass by, Jake jump from the tree and landed on the ground. He runs into the village where the men lived. Jake said, "Hello?" The men looks up and sees Jake standing before them. One said, "Is there anything I can help you with, son?" Jake said, "I was just passing by, I didn't mean to disturb you, if I did." The man said, "No, no, no, your just find. We're actually finish with our meditation." The man notices Jake's sword, he said, "T-that sword, where did you get it from?!" Jake said, "I got that from my Master, Master Roshi. If you know him, he's dead, those soldiers that you was talking to, they're from the Mazukai army." The man said, "Master Roshi is dead? How could this be?!" Jake said, "He was trying to protect me from General Orochimaru, his sons, and his army. A letter was send to us, because Master Roshi rescued me from his sons 5 years ago, but why wait so long for to do this? All these years and he decides to do this to us, to me, the same qeustion is always being asked and its why? why? why? why?" The man said, "Did u say 'General Orochimaru?' He's back. Listen to me, boy, you need to stay here hidden." Jake said, "My master told me to run, why do I need to hide?" The man said, "Just listen to me, your master, Roshi, I knew him. We were friends back in the old days, but when the Mazukai army came to take this city, they destroyed everything we had. I know Roshi stayed behind because of his students' death of the war, my men and I moved out and made a little village for ourselves. we have been living here since the war was over."

[The man explains more about the war that took place.]

Jake said, 'That's all what happen, the Mazukai army won the war over this city? Nothing makes sense. I need answers, I need to defeat the Mazukai army and take back the city." The man said, "Yes training, Roshi was a Shinobi, and a Shinobi had to learn their inner powers. Their chakra. Oh, I forgot to introduce myself, my name is Mei, these are my followers." Jake said, "My name is Jake, I was taught how to fight, but the powers, he never taught me." Mei said, "We'll, I'm going to teach you."

[Jake was taken under Mei's wing.]
