Havanas Pov(

I woke up to my bedroom really dark, and the sound of whining. Almost like a dog, crying loudly.... I jumped out of bed and looked at the clock, 1:20 Am.
Why would there be a dog whining we don't really have neighbors, we only have like two, and they both don't have dogs.

I stood on the hardwood floor,my eyes struggling to stay open, they stung as if someone splashed hot sauce into them.

I bluntly stared at the door trying to focus my eyes, am I dreaming? Maybe I had just had a really vivid loud dream and it woke me up and I just imagined the cries.

Maybe I'm just getting sick, and that's why everything seems louder. I turned back to my bed and face first belly flopped onto the soft warm covers, piling stuffed animals on top of me.
I could feel myself drifting off to sleep.

*BANG! BANG!*
"What?!" I woke up suddenly, all the stuffed animals rolled off me like an avalanche. The sound was even louder, and it scared me. I put on, vans and grabbed my softball bat, I swung the bat up to my shoulder and gripped the end ready to hit. I walked out of my room slowly.

I walked through the hall checked, Blair's room, she was fast asleep, I checked, Lauren's room she was also. I checked every upstairs room, All that was left was downstairs. I walked towards the stair way and crouched to look over the balcony just to make sure no one saw me and ran to hide.

There was no one, in sight. I clenched the bat even stronger. I crawled down the stairs slowly. The only sound was the clock ticking. It read 3:04 Am. I turned the light on,it beamed everywhere showing every little spot, gleaming onto the marble floor area and hard wood.

The cries started again and I ran to see the door. I looked through the little glass windows. No one in sight that I could see or catch. The dog cries started again. "What the hell!"
I walked out slowly, and looked around, Still clutching the bat. Nobody.

I turned and went back inside and locked the door and closed ally he curtains. Only place left was.... the backyard. I walked to the sliding glass, and unlocked it, turned the porch light on and opened it and stepped out, the porch was cold. I walked to the stair case, the light illuminating the whole yard. The cries were even louder out here.

Why am I the only one hearing this?! It sounded like it was right under me. I ran to the grass and looked. There
Sat, was a box with a note along with a collar and a big yellow lab. The lab ran to me and started licking my face while shivering. "Lets go inside" I smiled before taking the half opened box. Something was in it. I gently carried it in, while the lab followed me.

I locked the sliding door and shut the light off I walked through the hall to the kitchen and sat the box on the big island table. The note said;

*Dear Gilinskys, I used to be a neighbor of yours, I always saw that you were and easy built family that was loving and caring. This is Daisy, she just had a puppy, when I moved to a diff house they didn't allow pets. I couldn't afford to move again, I had all ready paid. So here they are, I'm letting you name the puppy, I didn't wanna leave it at your doorstep, so I'm putting it under the porch where it's not so cold.
I'm sorry for such early ness, you guys must be getting this in the morning but I came around 12, That was my lunch break. If you can't keep them please try to find them a good home! I hope you can keep them though, I trust you guys more than anyone else. - Debbie lowes.

"Debbie lowes?" I said opening the box, there sat an adorable puppy, fast asleep. I reached in and grabbed it, the puppy opened its eyes, yawning. I sat on the ground towards Daisy and brought the puppy towards her, she started to lick the puppy, and wagging her tale.

The box had two collars a purple Rhine stone and a Large purple Rhine stoned one, it also had a small bed for the puppy and some accessories. I grabbed the beds out, and headed up stairs, Daisy trailed behind.

I sat the bed by my side table and collars and accessories on the dresser. I sat the puppy on the bed, and grabbed huge body long pillows and sat then beside the puppy. "Here Daisy, this will be your bed until we get you an actual dog bed" Daisy cuddled the puppy, I jumped into bed, And left my arm dangling off, and petted Her.
